    Good luck

thanks, i was expecting to wait a while, witht he forthcoming JR it may take longer as any decision the FOS make will probably be put on hold by Lloyds until end of court case, (if it effects my claim, it may not as sold in Feb-05, with a full recording of the sales call available)

if it take a couple of years thats just more and more interest they will have to pay me in the end.

i see you, Di and Amersall have been busy keeping everyone informed, i keep logging on to look to help but you all beat me to it.
I'm proud to say that the banks no longer take money from me after becoming debt free

  • the usual 8 week update,

no news from the FOS, i usually get a letter every 8 weeks giving me a status, this is now 3 weeks late, so could be a sign of movement ( i live in hope:rotfl: ).

anyway, i have sent a nice polite letter to the FOS asking for an update and an idea of timescales as my complaint should not be effected by the BBA action as sold post Jan 2005.

i will give a further update when i hear from them.

on a positive note, i have made over £70 interest since Octobers update in interest :j:j:j

  • today i have recieved a letter from Lloyds tsb, and ot be honest i am gobsmacked, and very happy at the same time.

thye have re-lokked at my complaint and upheld it,:j:j:j:j:j:j

they say that as part of their ongoing customer service:rotfl:they have reviewed my case and upheld my complaint.

just about to sign the forms, so that will be a nice £5200 + interst £1200 + 8% simple approx £1400

at long last Lloyds have admitted their error and bad advice.

thak you to everyone who has helped me along the way, especially Di and Amersell,:beer:

i suppose i will have to inform the FOS now that they have decided to pay up
