Just making sure though that "difference they have stated should be the amount they are refunding isn't it"?
I will have to dig out the last 2 reclaims against these to see how they have worded them as well me thinks.:D
it looks to me like its a very nice refund indeed,
the way i read this is that you will get
1299 + 261 + 989
nice, unless i am reading it wrong. but the 8% simple at 989 looks to be for both the premiums paid and the difference in what the settlement would have been.I'm proud to say that the banks no longer take money from me after becoming debt free0 -
Wow well we shall soon see.
You see when they first wrote back about this decision, they made out they had calculated inline with the FOS, and the amount they were going to pay was something like £793 all in with interest.
I emailed them with spreadsheets, also to the CEO, then they came back and apologised and said it was something like £978, and today I receive this.........
I may be getting confused with another loan ppi though, so will check it out.:DThe one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
just an update on my main complaint,
got a letter from FOS this morning informing me that they now have all of th einformation and it is witing to go to an adjudicator, it then goes on to say they are very busy and there may be a delay, i think this is one for the long haul,
on a positive note, it means i will continue to get 8% on the money, this is currently racking up at a rate of £36 per month,I'm proud to say that the banks no longer take money from me after becoming debt free0 -
just a quick update,
got a letter today, still awaiting an adjudicator.
on a good note, the interest is still mounting up.

Some news then, that's good, and hope your not waiting too long, but as you said the interest will soon add up, cool:T
