good old Lloyds, as efficient as ever!!!!!!!!!!!!
an update
my large LPI complaint is with the FOS approx £6k will be 8k when finished
my 2 small old polices are with Lloyds super efficient complanits handling departments. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
the complaint for the 2 small ones was sent on 21st April this year, i have had a response on one of them with a puny goodwill offer, so have provided further information to back up my complaint (see this thread)
the other small LPI policy appears to have been overlooked by Lloyds and not looked into, this was detailed within the same letter as my other small policy above.
Just goes to show, they can't even read a letter properly, it clearly lists the 2 loan numbers and refers to 2 LPI policies.
i have e-mailed them today asking why they have not investigated one of my complaints,
after then calling them they have confirmed they started to look into this second small loan only yesterday (following my request that they properly investigate my complaint following their puny offer).
yet another example of their incompetence.
a prime example for everyone having trouble with Lloyds. Keep at them and make sure they investigate your complaints properly.
just not reading your complaint and actioning properly is not good enough for one of our largest financial institutions.
the good news is that if they give a final response and you are able to supply further evidence to back up your complaint they will re-look at it.I'm proud to say that the banks no longer take money from me after becoming debt free0 -

Yes that is correct, you can keep on at them even with a final decision your not happy with, it worked for us too.:j
All the best with these.

got a letter from Lloyds today Re: the above,
god only knows why the person on the phone could not have told me this.
they have upheld both LPI complaints and have offered me full refunds of the LPI and interest
loan 1 £990 plus interest
loan 2 £1050 plus interest
the letter does refer to my correspondence to the CEO of Lloyds so it did help.
so that'll be a cool £3,5k coming my way once the interest is added.
now just for the big oneI'm proud to say that the banks no longer take money from me after becoming debt free0 -

Mine have so far been 21 working days from when they receive the acceptance slip, so I always check The Royal Mail Tracking "Track and Trace" so know when they received this and take 21 working days from there.
I will to email them a few days before to remind them of them confirming to me it would be that of 21 working days.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
