I keep dipping in and out of this when I have time!
You are all quite motivated, well done!

    Today I have...

    done ironing
    ordered bathroom tiles
cleaned bathroom (for the last time in its current state, I hope!)
cleaned kitchen and chucked out all empty yoghurt pots, etc., which have been driving me mad
made all beds and changed where necessary
dusted living room and dining room
    hoovered upstairs and downstairs
    put clothes away
    sorted out recycling
    moved rabbit back outside

    Phew! I am exhausted!

I don't see why not, if the mods don't apporve they'll let you know. Otherwise do you have any friends/relatives who'll use them?

I usually keep them as someone is bound to have a need for one sooner or later!

    Hi

No I'm not near my family and all friends are either gay or have had their last child!

I will give Freecycle a go - I wish it was more anonymous, haha.

Bathroom is now spotless - pretty much. Not a lot I can do about discoloured grout and the mould at the moment but the windowsil is neasrly clear so hopefully will be easier to wipe off the mould/condensation.
Threw away a load of products that were either ancient or unsused. I keep doing this and the pile never goes down so I was really ruthless today, I don't NEED that much shampoo! Threw out old wash mitts and shower puffs as they can't be hygienic.

    Looks fab now, yay!

Stock is simmering, CBA with a pie right now... may find the inclination later.

If you don't mind posting them to me I can Paypal you the postage costs, I have teenage sisters and am bound to need them sooner or later!

  • RAGZ - I have PM'd you!

Cleaning the mould away is really satisfying isn't it?

I use my old hated shampoos to clean the bath, seems to work but I really must cut down.
  • With OH at work, 5 at school and 1 at work for the morning, myself and 12yo who is off school for reasons I won't put in this thread, got some housework done. I think she felt good for helping dad.

Feeling very pleaseed with myself today. I'm at my parents' at the moment, finally managed to get my hands on their finances! Not to spend though, I'm saving them money. Just sorted my Dad out with balance transfers for his credit cards so saved him tons in interest. Been desperate to do this for ages as I can't stand to see them wasting money, but my Dad's the kind of guy you have to catch in the right mood for things like that!
He tried to pay me for my time but I wouldn't have it lol

Another dry bed this morning from DS1, woke him up once at 10pm and that was all he needed.

Kids are staying at Auntie's tonight, I think she's hoping baby will come on her due date - not much chance of that lol but at least I get a night off and a lie in! Woohoo!

Phew - the apartment is very clean, floors, surfaces, bathroom, toilet, kitchen all done. And we went to Ikea and I did the grocery shopping. The laundry is just drying now, too.

Now I'm tired. OH is making dinner and the baby is watching him. I've got tea, a book and the internet and that's me for the night.
