    HI Money saving diva, congratulations:j:j:j.

My organisation has fallen out the window and I have not manged to get it back, my DH has been off work for a few weeks with a back problem, which means that I am now doing all the stuff I normally do and his stuff too, on top of managing without any wages. Who knew petrol lawnmowers were so difficult to get started???:D:D:D

Sorry to hear you are having some difficulties beast feeding, I never had any bother at all so am not the best person to comment, but I remember my friend had mastitus and used cabbage leaves? Recommended by midwife and she swore it worked, so perhaps worth a go??

    Good luck.

Maybe time to kick start us all so my list for today

School run x 5 (DD15 has to go to school for an exam and then be transferred to work experiance later)

    Shopping

    Washing x 3

hang washing on line :j:j(tumble dryer has been mothballed)

Feed cats, dog, hamsters, fish and bunny

    Clean all animals

    Blitz kitchen and bathroom

Bake cakes and biscuits - school fayre tomorrow

    Book some sort of holiday

Have lawnmower serviced (I am sure it really shouldnt be so hard to start)

Deliver all the stuff that DS12 has forgotten to school

    Take DH doctors

deliver sick note to work for DH

    Cook dinner

Attempt a meal plan (got to get thru that freezer)

    Sort clothes for tomorrow

    Banking

    Hope everyone else ok.
  • Wow kidcat that is a long list!!!
    Well today I plan to:
    get dressed lol
    get kids dressed
    put bread maker on
do as much house work as pos as I'm expecting visitors later and house is a tip!
    put washing on
    hang washing out
    make tea
make home made thank you cards for all the lovely baby gifts we were given

I'm not sure how much I am going to get done !? But I will give it all a good try.

I went to the docs yesterday so my mastitis is being treated and feels a bit better today. Baby was also attached to me all yesterday afternoon which is good for mastitis but meant I did nothing but feed her. I was so drained in the evening! I knew I would have problems as I did with ds. I gave up after a week feeding him because I had so much pain. I had mastitis but didn't realise! I ended up having an abcess treated in hospital. Feeding is going much better with dd.

well on wednesday i was really pleased with myself :D i did all my list apart from the thank you cards. i have everything ready to make them i MUST do them tonight or at the weekend.

today is the first day i have managed to get out and do housewrk! We went to see a friend so ds could have a good play and when we got home both children slept so i got loads of housework done. yay!

dd woke for a feed before ds woke so i fed her and had some time on our own - which was lovely because i dont really get much time just on my own with her.

i am feeling much better now.

better go......ds has just woken up!

p.s where is everyone??? is it just you and me kidcat?

Looks like its just us Money saving diva, and i fully understand the pleasure of having some time with the new baby alone. My youngest two only have two years between them so when DD was born DS was only 2 and it was hectic, it was lovely when I got a few minutes alone with DD. :)
Well done on getting out and about with them both, and getting housework done too, everything here is so busy atm, with all the kids having loads of stuff going on at school I feel like I meet myself some days.
