Sleep is your priority at the moment and the housework ca go hang!! :)

My son is having extreme difficulties at scool at the moment and this means I am feeling really down - having to fight to get him any additional help - and to get them to accept he is different, I am left with no energy and an almost permanent headache. Have been popping strong painkillers since Friday!!

Another birthday tomorrow (struggling son) so more chaos and yet another meal with my parents here so very dificult to menu plan.

Good luck money saving diva - I would have a look at what day will be the most nconvenient for babe to be born - can guarantee that will be the one!! :)

Oh yes. imagine your waters breaking :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Meals are always difficult with my parents as my dad is extremely fussy and my mum doesnt cook (they eat mainly ready meals or sandwiches), add in to the mix a very fussy 12 year old (his birthday so got to take his views into acount) and a 6 year old who doesnt do potatoes and a 4 year old who doesnt like meat!! My dad wont have anything spicy, no herbs, no garlic, pasta or rice.
    Its a total nightmare.

I dread the idea of them coming as its all so difficult.

kidcat - sounds like a bit of stress for you! if your parents eat mainly ready meals or sandwiches, can they not just do their own while they are at your house?

moneysavingdiva - I always seem to have more dental problems while I'm pregnant - although thankfully never right when I was due ! Hopefully you will get through the appointment with no labour! LOL

Sorry I've been a bit awol - just a lot going on lately, really. Doing okay, just getting out and about more. I've felt more like myself this last two weeks, and I'm taking time to go places and do more things, which seems to help my organisation somewhat as well. DH's work schedule is reduced now, and that really helps as well. Today's general tasks are done - washing up, laundry hanging out to dry. I just need to do a spot of picking up in the living room (well, actually just encourage my 3yo to pick up his toys, which shouldn't take too long) and that's it, other than general everyday stuff. Wednesday is officially "fend for yourself/make easy dinner" night here, so no big meal to cook today. DS3 is a bit cranky today - teething I think as he has a top front tooth coming in. So I'm not planning on doing a whole lot as he is very "mummy-oriented" today.

Hope everyone is doing well today.

I also had a filling at the start of this pregnancy but cos I am preggers she does white fillings, which are great cos you can't see them. The tooth isn't bothering me but she picked up at a regular appointment 2 weeks ago I have a small area of decay she wants to fill. I thought  at first and said I would wait until after the birth .... but then I thought better to just get it over with. Although I am a bit worried about waters going....as that is how my labour with ds started (but in bed) That would be a bit embarrassing :embarasse :rotfl::eek: would be a story to tell though wouldn't it :p

Maybe your dentist would offer free treatment for life if you went into labour there.:)

Hello all, the spring has us all busy I see.
    have the babies arrived yet?
    Loving the sunny days!
  • Well i thought I would let you know............and give you all a laugh :rotfl:

I went to the dentist today and I didn't go into labour but I did go very very faint and had to tell the dentist to stop 3 times! I had to have the filling in twice. I made a right fool of myself! I felt so silly but I can't lay on my back comfy for long (who can at 37 weeks preggers??) as the babies weight seems to weigh on my lungs, add in the factor that you can't breath right or take deep breaths while having work done in the dentist I think my body couldn't get enough oxygen. :( I was sweating buckets...poor dentist assistant had cold fannels on my face, they had to open window wide...I feel so stupid! I should have waited until baby was here - tooth wasn't even bothering me  I don't think she will be in a rush to treat any other heavily pregnant women ;).

I feel knakered after the experience! I am glad I am meeting up with my best mate this afternoon for a coffee I need to get over this mornings experience! :D

MSD, lying on your back in late pregnancy can cause the baby's weight to lie on the vena cava, which lessens the circulation to the lower half of your body. And since that's the end where the baby is, your body lets you know well before you do any damage that it's Not OK.

I was incredibly organised today - a list of 40 things all crossed off. 12 on the list for tomorrow and 5 on Husband's list, all of which he is whinging about.

Actually, I am feeling braggy, so look, today I:

    took out rubbish
    took ebay photos
cleared the pile o'crap off the desk
moved the box off the din rm chair
    emailed JP
    2x laundry
    called bed company
    tidied baby's toys
    vacuum home office
    sort DVDs
replaced all the stuff on the kitchen shelf
copyedited a paper and returned it
[at this point OH added "remember I love you"] so I did
    put decanter back
    cleaned kettle
    put the dishes away
    wiped down the kitchen counter
    cleared din rm table
    collected all OH's unopened mail
collected all spare change about the place
    online banking
    emailed KN
    charged camera battery
replace bag out of liv rm
    put the blankets away
    put the laundry away
    put my dress fabric away
collected stuff to go down to basement
    reviewed book
    gave away a scooter
collected and took out another rubbish bag
    put the camera back together
    cleared the hall table
    clothes in laundry basket
    put jacket away
    put shoes away
    packed bag for tomorrow
    sorted my sock drawer
made a list for OH for tomorrow
made my own list for tomorrow
    washed remaining dishes
    put all the recycling together
put away the stuff that was sitting on the kitchen floor
started a gift box for SIL
