RiversideJo - Welcome to the thread. Have you read through everyone's tips on organising? Also have a look at the Flylady thread on the Old Style board if you need housework related motivation.
I'm feeling very pleased with myself, despite the fact it's been snow/sleet all day I dragged myself out of my PJs and into a pair of leggings and a skirt I found that I can still fit in - yay for lycra! Got car out and went to the shops, did recycling and went to the tip to get rid of the 3 bin bags of cardboard in my boot (usually collected but snow/xmas means we've missed over a month).
Interesting discovery in Co-Op, I never ususally buy fizzy drinks but wanted to stock up on some for labour as quick energy boost/liquids. It seems a can of Tango has nearly half the sugar/calorie content of Fanta (doesn't taste quite as good though!). On offer £1 for 4 cans of tango/7up at the moment.
Off to check on rice now, chili for dinner which my toddlers love for some reason (no, I don;t make theirs as hot as mine!).June Grocery Challenge £493.33/£500 July £/£500

Right, I've been to all my meetings and broken the laundry basket, not to mention done some laundry and put half of it away. I've also impressed my boss, organised two future appointments and piled some crap onto the bed to be put away later. Baby is on her way down for a nap and I will eat dinner and then hopefully go to bed when she goes to bed.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

atwitsend, I figure if it ends up on the bed it has to be put away, otherwise I can't sleep there

I've done as little as I could today and don't feel a bit guilty.
Oh, and I outgrew my pretty Next maternity shirts at 34 weeks and was reduced to stretchy vests and truly enormous maternity trousers.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

Hello everyone
Hugs to all you pregnant ladies - not too long to go by the sounds of things!
I think baby staying in sleepsuit is perfect idea - I did this with mine for about 9 mths. I'm with Ragz in that the night before stuff pays huge dividends in the morning - I even lay breakfast table ready!
Good labour vibes to all that want/need them........

Note the time, and I am all done!!!
I am telling you, write a list and work through it and it works!!
Today on my list I got done:
cleaned bathroom window
put mirror up in bathroom
toilet duck and wiped loo
dusted sitting room
cleaned sitting room floor
emptied bins
tidied sitting room
did washing
dried washing (some still drying)
washed and dried dishes, put away
cleaned benches and unit doors
took dry washing upstairs
cleaned ouches
put rubbish out
cleaned passage floor
sorted out babies hats and gloves
put cushion covers on
got gas ans electric
gave pram to charity shop
On my list I havnt done
cleaned babies walker
sorted out nappies
Got her to bed at 6.50 and she was asleep by 7.20! She only had one nap as she wasnt on the couch as much as usual and when waybulloo came on i dimmed the lights.
I kept wiping the basin after use and the bath so they arent like jobs anymore.
I also put her bumbo in the bathroom and she was happy to sit there hitting the bath pannel while i got on - put her in her seat in the sitting room and as long as i was singing an dplaying peekaboo she happily played with her books.
Quite possibly an almost perfect day!!!
Going to write my list for tomorrow!50p/£24.00 Xmas 2010:rudolf:

Myself and 12yo are going shopping to cheer her up. I'll worry about the rest of the house after the others are home from school. It's tidy enough, or as tidy as can be with 7 girls (8 if you include lovely lady)
Hope everyone has a nice day and gets done what they need to get done - remember lots of cups of tea and rest!0 -
atwitsend, I figure if it ends up on the bed it has to be put away, otherwise I can't sleep there
tried that yesterday, forgot all about it so when I went to bed I just dumped the clean laundry on the floor
oops
Went to Lidl this morning, then tesco to get shower curtains for home birth. Treated myself to some PJs and a top (£15 total so not too bad) as that's all I'm comfy in at the moment and PJs will still fit after birth as it doesn't matter if they are huge.
To do today
Tidy bedrooms
Wash kids bedding
Laundry - fold and put away
