Morning all!
Despite all the vacuuming and mopping I did yesterday all I got was a load of mild contractions that kept stopping and starting! I could cope with another few weeks of being pregnant if I didn't keep getting signs of it starting that then go away as quick as they came... never had this with the others - it was nothing at all until a week over EDD. Oh well, hey ho another day!
My list
Flylady - cloakroom and utility for me today!
Cook/freeze spare chicken breasts
Pack boys' overnight stuff (still not done this)
Xmas decs box into garage (it got as far as the utility room)
Pay tax bill online
Washing
Fold and put away yesterday's washing!June Grocery Challenge £493.33/£500 July £/£500

Horrible ragz! I had regular contractions at regular intervals from 26 weeks up till about 38 weeks and was in and out of hospital for drugs to stop the labour, and then once I was happy for her to come at any time she settled herself in and refused to budge :rotfl:Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

Poor you... I don't feel so bad now, I must be quite lucky!

Mmm I am thinking let him take his dirty washing with him - he's obviously been storing it up. I'll say nothing about it.
Whose clothes? If it's a man I say no. Unless you are together and work as a team of course...
I have not being feeling great lately, I am not sleeping and then waking up before my alarm and I have that knot in my stomach that tells me I am getting depressed again
I want to try and nip it in the bud as it has been very bad before and I don't want to get like that again... erm, sorry for the downer. On the plus side the house is looking better than ever  I am scared I will let it slide again though as I am not feeling very motivated.
Today's list:
- [STRIKE]go to post office and send off all the important forms[/STRIKE]
- [STRIKE]washing on[/STRIKE]
- [STRIKE]hang washing up on driers[/STRIKE]

Well, the girls washing is in progress, which is my main goal for today outside of visiting the school, which has been done.
I'll change the beds later.0 -

as i said earlier my ds has just started nursery and my dd has her afternoon nap while he is there so i have the 'afternoon' well an hour and half to myself five days a week. im hoping to get my house clean so i can spend mornings doing any daily chores, washing, hoovering, mopping etc and preparing the tea. whilst the kids play with each other. then i can have the afternoon to concentrate on writing (i want to be an author when i grow up:p) in peace and then playtime with mummy will be when we return from nursery.
this hopefully is going to start from next week
i will be an organised mummy in 2010 :T:T0 -
rainbow81 - keep your chin up - I know what it is like to have the knot in your stomach it is not nice. Do whatever you need to keep yourself happy.
I read a saying once which is so true 'if mummy isn't happy, no-ones happy', invest the time in yourself now so things get better xxx2024 - happy, healthy, quality over quantity, buy nothing new (and 2nd hand only if NEEDED), mindful spending, nurturing myself and family, living for now.
Mortgage @ 31/12/23 £248k - too high, interest rate gone up - want this down asap!
Debt @ 31/12/23 £16k - no interest - will clear over 5 years hopefully.
Emergency savings £4k - been ransacked over last year - needs attention :-(0 -

Oh thank you. I do try and live by that slogan, I'm not very good at being a martyr! Off to the cinema in a couple of hours while DS is with his dad, yay. :j
I had a nap earlier to instead of finishing my housework list, a couple of hours well spent!

Week 3/52 - Theme - Organising Tips:
1. Your best tips for organising the home:
Have a thorough clean and then go from there doing a bit every day - keep on top of it or it will get on top of you!
Declutter regularly.
Storage boxes that fit under sofas
Ikea have some and they are perfect for small toys - cars, figures etc.
2. Your best tips for organising your time:
Prioritise - and yes playgroups and you time count as time well spent
It's amazing what you can get done in the time it takes to boil the kettle ie quick wipe down, dishwasher, load washer - once you start you'll want to finish
ical on the mac - love it! I also carry a diary in my bag.
3. Your best tips for organising children:
erm.............shout a lot lol
I find structure and routine works - if they know to expect to do homework when they get home they get on and do it. Also a little bride helps - i give £1 when they get to the end of each homework book. I also pay them for little chores - balling socks for example they get 5p per pair
Praise
4. Your best tips for organising finances:
Oh eck - i use a spreadsheet to do a budget but it cant stop me over spending unfortunately!
5. Any other tips
i'm finding baby groups really good at the moment as baby has fun and it also tires him out for a good sleep in the aft.
What a fab idea ........... I gotta see if they fit under our sofa now. I hope they do cos it will be great storage and also help cut down on the amount of stuff that can gather under there!! My son hides stuff under the sofas on purpose!
I have been quite good today. i didn't plan anything today other than housework so I got quite a lot of housework done. I have some mates coming round for coffee in the morning. Does anyone else clean their house better when they know people are coming over?
I know I should keep it like this all the time but I just don't seem to be able to. I always seems to sort out the piles of 'stuff' hanging around when I know people are coming round. I am just not an automatically tidy person. I am a messy person that loves living in a tidy house . SAHM Mummy tods (born Oct 2007) and dd (born June 2010)0 -
My husbands clothes but he's looking for somewhere else to live as it's over between us. Part of me says I would be being petty not doing his washingWhose clothes? If it's a man I say no. Unless you are together and work as a team of course...

and another part says stuff him:mad:! When i've needed help he's not been there - time he did his own washing and everything else.
Anyhoo, I have bought a big shiny A4 nortebook to do lists in!:T And I have stocked up on wipes and everyroom is going to have its own little cleaning kit/bag so I've no excuse to not at least give it a wipe down.:A50p/£24.00 Xmas 2010:rudolf:
