    Hello organised mummies!

Well, yesterday didn't go too well, DS went off at 5pm and I promptly opened a bottle of wine, got into my pyjamas and put a film on! It was nice to relax though and considering I did bog all the house still looks presentable (apart from a bit of washing up).

    Today's list:
    - ring up and make a hair appointment
    - [STRIKE]try and get through to friend as I am supposed to be visiting her today but she seems to have her phone off. Should I push it? Does she want to be left alone? I don't know...[/STRIKE]I rang her ward and we had a lovely long chat but she doesn't sound like herself. She is out on Monday so I will see her then.
    - [STRIKE]wash up (!)[/STRIKE]
    - [STRIKE]buy some gamecube controllers so DS can play the GC game he's got on the Wii. I'm not going to the game shops in this weather.[/STRIKE] Ordered from Amazon!
    - [STRIKE]Put a load of washing on[/STRIKE]
    - hang up dry washing and put wet washing up to dry
    - [STRIKE]put DS's new curtains up[/STRIKE]
    - [STRIKE]30 mins on the Wii Fit[/STRIKE]I went for a run instead. Go me! :j

That should be enough for today, I also need some new books to read. [STRIKE]So I will peruse the charity shops even though it is chucking it down with rain.[/STRIKE] I will make do with what I've got!

Good luck again RAGZ - they just come when they're ready don't they? Mine had to be threatened with induction before he emerged.

    xx

JJM - Yeah I had to have my waters broken with both my boys, apparently they were industrial strength! After that it was very quick... so at least I know if they break this time it won't be long after.
Have given up hoping baby will be early... she'll come when she's ready...

Cupboards and fridge now full! Managed Lidl and Tesco, £40 in each and got loads. Very impressed with Lidl's fuit and veg, so much cheaper than Tesco and better quality. Will have to make the effor tto go every time now.

    Bonus jobs completed!!

-put away all the baby clothing we were given over Christmas in too-big sizes
-pull out all the next-size stuff we'll need soon

    Next:
    -eat lunch
-go through bag of 9-12 month stuff and separate out most of the too-warm stuff
    -put the right-weather stuff away
-put the rest in the classifieds

Only emptying the dryer, folding and putting away the stuff to go. Whoo hoo!!

And a bonus letter written - Husband found a letter I meant to reply to in his to-do pile and I've written the letter. I will now package the last ebay thing that ended today for posting on Monday and then sit back and feel smug all evening.

Rubbish weather here - but at least dog has been walked and uniform is washed and put away for next week - book bags gone through and homework sitting on table in the homework basket waiting to be tackled tommorow!

Ragz baby comes when baby wants, know it sounds lame but it true coming form someone inducded. If i had my way baby would be here by now as I am so umcomfitable and in pain with the spd. Painfree water breaking for you ragz. Gonna hit the hay as I'm tired see you all in the morning/afternoon
  • I had a c section as induction didnt work for me. I dont think she was ready to come but they were worried about my blood pressure. Blimey I hate to think what mine was if having a epiostomy isnt a natural birth!!! Thats shocking ((hugs))

Oh I have cats by the way! It's getting to be more watching their safety nowadays. She doesnt half grab hold of their fur and pulls their skin up. Poor things, maybe i'll put them in the cot with a net up !

Well, I nearly wished the snow was back today as the rain was so heavy! Floors need doing as got black paw prints all over.
Bottles are made up though, only a couple of dishes to do - got to spin and hang up washing and i am calling that a night!

My aim for the end of the year is to have this house running like a well oiled machine - you know when they say to make things work for you and not the other way round - one thing I need to focus on is accessability. Like if I want the little lamp on I have to move out the couch, or the cd player I have to find the plug extension - it's extra bother that isnt wanted.

And not having the kitchen table constantly full of ''stuff''.

I feel all smug. Everything is done. At least until tomorrow. Never stays all done when you have kids.

I had a C-section after a failed induction, failure to progress and foetal distress - can't imagine how unnatural that must be.....

Today I'm taking things a bit easier:

    -parcel ebay stuff
-sell bag of clothes to buyer @ 1pm
    -transcription software?
    -clear dining table
    -vacuum

    Morning!

    How is everyone?

I am having an easy day (I say that every day, lol) - but there's a plan in action and weekdays I do a bit more, if you see what I mean.

    So today:
    - [STRIKE]Hang out washing that I didn't do yesterday[/STRIKE]
    - [STRIKE]hop on the train and go to the next town and find myself something to do while I am at home (that isn't cleaning)[/STRIKE] no hobbies found but I'm glad I got out.
    - wash up
    - [STRIKE]do a bit of exercise, wii fit or yoga[/STRIKE]
    - hopefully get rid of our computer desk, a man from freecycle is coming to view it got an email, "something came up" apparently, rescheduled for tomorrow.
    - [STRIKE]complete IS form[/STRIKE] and put it in an envelope ready for the post office tomorrow can't find a recent bank statement (so much for organisation!! Lol.) I should get one in the next week.
    - [STRIKE]ditto OU form[/STRIKE]
    - [STRIKE]ditto book for my sister[/STRIKE]
    - [STRIKE]ditto P60 for IR[/STRIKE]
    - [STRIKE]frame 2 school photos and hang[/STRIKE]

Have a good day everyone. You're making me broody too!

Have your other halves noticed that your houses are getting more streamlined??

    xx
