but with DS i got to the hospital too late so didnt have anything, he was back to back and only 7lb5 and i screamed like a banshee throughout! i think if DS was any bigger i would have died!!
I didn't have one as I knew it might slow me down and end up with a section. I was a bit gobbed smacked when one of the mums said I didn't have a natral birth as I had an espesotom (when they cut you sorry tmi ) had to laugh didn't know it was a competition! think everyone who has kids have met a mum like that :rotfl:
I'm keeping a open mind to see what happens on labour day just wish it will hurry up.
I am a walking ( or should I say wobbling n limping ) moan bag due to the spd.
The advice is good here, I started a tread about going from a toddler to plus newborn and got some good advice. will have a look if there is anything new on it.
But back on track,
things I have done today (not a lot but with spd everything is harder, painful and slower )
we brought a bed for the spare room.
Hoovered downstairs
Mopped down stairs
cooked roast dinner
things to do 2mow
Tidy upstairs
Dust up stairs
hoover
put the washing away
do a load of washing
oh while I remember the gift for a 30 year old. How about getting stuff to remind them of being a teenager? almond macaron lipstick from rimmel, dew berry perfum from the body shop. Don't think you can get them now but how about making a cd with all the tunes from their teenage years? Bros or newkids what ever they were into?
I used to wear blue/pink lipstick in the 80's! It was pink with a hint of blue, Boots 17! god that takes me back!

Just wanted to give out warning about what happened to me today - went to the cashpoint and got a statement and over £40 was pending!
Asda took and delivered £30 odd on the 13th and delivered my stuff AND took a further unauthorised £40 odd on the 14th!!!
This would have been the sum had they had everything I ordered so I knew it was them.
I rang the bank adn they are going to send me a form to fill in to claim it back - rang Asda who said it was the banks fault I couldnt get the money and it will take 10 days to remain pending, but oh its alright cos they wont actually take the money!!! Tried explaining they may as well have as I have no access to it!
He put me on hold and I was holding ages so I hung up - they never rang me back.
So thats me and online shopping parting company.50p/£24.00 Xmas 2010:rudolf:

Which is why I suggested a travel cot in the living room. I would never leave a child alone with animals either

I bought one but they would just jump in. I have alot of pets!
But... the weather is picking up, she can come in her walker soon in the kitchen and actually walk on the wood floor in it :T and when she's older we'll play ''wash the dishes'' :cool:50p/£24.00 Xmas 2010:rudolf:

Thanks for all the positive baby vibes everyone. This is the first time I've sat down in hours as I was trying to get gravity to do some work!
So far today I have done
Levels 1 and 3 of Flylady list
Made pizza and quiche (quiche for freezer as a post baby meal!) with boys
Made leftover rice into egg fried rice with ham and peas for boys' lunch with the pizza
Made Yorkshire puds for dinenr tongiht but thy don't look right, not enough mixture and not hot enough oil I decided, but I expect they are still edible...
Off for a rest now as bump is very tight and uncomfortable again...
Have you tried curry?
It never worked for me but you get to that desperate point you'll try anything!!!50p/£24.00 Xmas 2010:rudolf:

lol thanks, never worked for me with the last two either! Nothing did, I was a week late with both so I guess I was just being hopefully that this one would come early - it is a girl after all. But no signs yet
If it helps I think you can get pet-proof nets to put over cots, but not sure what kind of pets you have...Asda took and delivered £30 odd on the 13th and delivered my stuff AND took a further unauthorised £40 odd on the 14th!!!

Good Morning everyone

its crappy and raining here too  nothing unusual there
today should be fun, just before xmas we had to have the whole roof of our extension replaced due to a leak (the guy who renovated the house before we bought it was useless! found out he had used lino as roofing felt:mad:) and we are waiting for them to return to cement in by the lead piping. its OH's dad and uncle, can't get too mad with them as they are doing a huge favour on the cheap'ish which is a bit of a pain.
so a few tasks i can think of to do so far today- sort through clean wishing & put away (OOOh DH is putting away just as i am finishing typing this, wonder whats wrong with him!)
- tidy living room / kitchen
- hoover living room / kitchen / stairs
- tidy bedrooms
- make food planner for next week (really really need to do this!)
- type up appraisal notes for work.
- tidy bathroom / poss wash floor
- look online for new school trousers for dd
- something for dinner
- something for tea
i'm sure there will be a few more once i have woken up a bit
