  • Just blirzed the bathroom yay!
Dont know where that energy spurt came from but now it's just a case of a little bit a day.

Do have to clean the lampshade though, noticed its dusty and a little cobwebby! Need to clean the window and put the mirrror back up - fix the shelf securely, empty the bin and bleach the loo (so a semmi blitz!)

Also need to start thinking about baby proofing it to some extent.
Going to write this in my new shiny book !

Going to look downstairs at thign sthat could go in the bathroom and going to do that NOW!

  • Ok, just dusted the lampshade (will need a proper clean when next change light bulb), have dusted the ceiling, emptied the bin and toilet ducked the loo.
SO now just need to clean window and put up mirror (will today for sure) - and fix shelf.

Noticed toilet duck is Orange scent and the wipes are orange too, so am going to stick to an orange scent in the bathroom - will buy some orange oil for the pot pourri in there :j

Every night before bed I will toilet duck the loo and give a quick clean down.
I will always try and clean up after myself at the time - wipe the sink after washing hands, clean the bath after a bath etc.
Once a week I will blitz the room and renew orange oil.

  • There must be something in the air with us ladies! starting and stopping, went into hospital yesturday afternoon with contrations but not dilated and they kept me in till tonight. Not dilated but soft so fingers crosssed it will be soon, so tired with a banging headache but just can't sleep.

And the boiler is broke so have no hot water or heating £300 to fix it:eek::eek: and DH has upset me being a man:mad:;) so not a good day 2mow by the feel of it.

But on the plus side I won an appeal againist a parking ticket and I passed my driving test yesturday.

Fed up and hormonal, worried my PND is coming back to haunt me early. So hence my goal today is to rest and not get upset. may have got the tread mixed up for pregnant venting forum, not stay at home moms get organised.
    job list
    1. repack hospital bag
    2. relax
    3. don't get upset.

((HUGS)) honey, it's all happening at once isn't it? Good news about parking ticket though
Hope you get boiler sorted before baby comes, sounds like it may not be long (saying that I've been soft and dilated a bit for over a month now ).

My goal for today is paperwork. Not looked at Flylady thread yet, going to get paperwork filed first. Haven't done it properly since we moved in April so it's in dire need and folders are falling apart!
Found 3 new folders in the bedroom so going for
    "Car"
    "Money"
    "Important Documents"

Then I should really file all OH's random receipts and get the invoice book off him... but maybe that can wait.

Need to inform Housing Benefit of OH's new income info now I've done Tax return and actuallly know it, otherwise they expect you to pick figures from the air and woe betide if you get it wrong

    Right, off to file stuff...

Well done jimjam on the parking ticket and driving test :)

My plan for today is just to go to the three meetings I need to go to, put the laundry basket back in its rightful place and get some sleep. My beautiful girl was up from 2:30am and I'm all but crawling under the desk and weeping.

I might do a room-to-room putting stuff away for ten minutes if I CBA later on.

  • Well baby is due next week  I still have loads to do :o

top of the list is sort my sons room, especially his wardrobe!
    -clean all 3 bathrooms
    -wash all floors
-clean the windows inside and out for whole house
    -change duvet day today
-buy box files to organise yet more paperwork
-pester OH to still put christmas decs away that are sat in my living room!

Anyone got any tips on routine building? Do you make baby revolve around your already set routine? i know I am going have to be mega organised when bubs is here and I have to get the kids to school, my first thoughts are for mornings, I have two children (1 has severe autism/adhd) our routine is great atm, any slight change upsets my DS, even if is putting his shoes on at a different time
i was thinking of keeping baby is his sleep clothes from night, putting pramsuit over the top for the school run and sorting it out when I get home :o
    does that sound ok? :o

I'm planning on doing the same. My house is only 5 mins from the preschool - will get more complicated when DS1 starts school in Sept though!

Definitely fit bubs around your existing routine, will be easier for everyone. Including bedtimes, I plan on putting baby to sleep in our room after putting Ds2 and Ds2 to bed, so I still get my evenings and baby learns about bedtime!

Only major changes are I plan to do a lot more the night before eg make packed lunches and get outfits ready. Otherwise routine will stay the same.

Paperwork done! Only took an hour :j

    Morning all

I had a nice lie in as DS was taken to school by his dad, so apart from a sniffle I am feeling much better today :D

money saving diva - Well, usually my house is a tip unless someone's coming round, but not since I've been on this thread, it seems much more under control day-to-day and I wouldn't be ashamed to just open the door now to anyone. It's not fancy, the furniture is 2nd hand but at least there's not loads of carp everywhere.

Iheart2poundcoins - the day I knew ex-OH was moving out was the day I stopped doing all that stuff for him. I don't think it is petty. Re: the bathroom, this cleaning malarky always makes you see even more dirtier bits doesn't it?? Lol.

jimjams mommy - oh your hormones must be all over the place at the moment and it sounds like loads is going on. Your list sounds brilliant :T Try and get some R and R.

atwitsend - I was under the impression that you wrap your life around the 1st baby and subsequent babies just have to fit in. I only have one though, and routine is important for him too. Sounds good about the babygrow pyjama thing.

    My Wednesday list:
    - washing on
    - hang dry washing away and wet washing up
    - [STRIKE]15 minutes on paperwork[/STRIKE]
    - [STRIKE]clean fish tank[/STRIKE]
    - [STRIKE]yoga class[/STRIKE]
    - [STRIKE]put the bins out[/STRIKE]
    - [STRIKE]clean out fridge[/STRIKE]
    - [STRIKE]15 minutes decluttering my bedroom[/STRIKE]
    - washing up

I need to get dressed but nothing fits, I feel like a whale... I can't go out to the shops/recycling because I have NOTHING to wear - all my maternity clothes are too tight and uncomfortable!
