cdwow here too.
I placed an order for cbeebies christmas dvd in november. They sent an email saying it was delayed. I dunno if my dd will be into cbeebies next year and i cant give it for a birthday pressie.0 -
Play.com let us down badly over the wii game that my little 'un really wanted - same old saga - in stock, not dispatched, then suddenly out of stock. So we tried the 'new' Woolworths site which guaranteed delivery for Christmas, thinking that they would be eager to please being a new business......wrong, it didn't arrive.
So, my festive message to both PLAY.COM and WOOLWORTHS is....
:xmastree: F**k you - you lousy bunch of B*st*rds. :xmastree:
:xmastree: You will not be getting my business again. :xmastree:
Happy Christmas to everyone else. :beer:All matter is merely energy condensed to a slow vibration, we are all one consciousness experiencing itself subjectively, there is no such thing as death, life is only a dream, and we are the imagination of ourselves.0 -
ordered and paid for 2 laura ashley couches in october (in good time for xmas one would think) -stated delivery date of 24th november came and went with a letter for a new delivery date of 2nd Feb!! they said i cant cancel as i had specified the colour of the couches which makes my consumer rights nul and void - very poor communications, long waiting times on the phone and no choice but to use my conservatory furniture for xmas!!0

ordered a bouques from BUNCHES for a 21st - failed to arrive, they said i could get it re-delivered, no discount or apology - just a very bland, repetitive and disinterested robot on the other end of the phone who didnt seem bothered with a take it or leave it attitude - get your act together bunches - we have a choice and i would not recommend you to anyone, not only cos you failed to deliver but cos of your poor attitutde to customer service - danni (MD) take note!
HAPPY XMAS EVERYONE0 -
Book people.... but not book people's fault, DHL their couriers... twice this year.
1st time got a card through door, tried phoning depot repeatedly could not get answer, by time i managed to get through they had sent it back. (Book people sent a replacement by different courier bless them).
2nd delivery - DHL left card in door even though I was in, phoned and rearranged delivery, they didn't turn up, phoned again to rearrange -no show, phoned again... guess what no show. So presents not here for christmas sadly.
I am sure if i contact book people they will send out again by different couriers so no problem with them at all.
All other couriers have been pretty decent but PLAY.COM have sent some very badly wrapped stuff this year, resulting in damage.
Oh and thanks Debenhams for only telling my mum on tuesday that the item she ordered a month ago was not being sent... sold out everywhere else now you gits!0 -
play.com I ordered 3 cd's on 25th November still not received (dispatched 26th, 27th, 28th) yet I ordered DVD's after that and a couple of pre-orders and got those so I believe there is a problem play.com end.
Interlink express big let down I ordered from LaSenza for the gf and the box looked like the driver sat on it and it was soaking wet didnt even attempt to look inside called the company and go it picked straight back up. I tried to refuse it and the driver just shrugged his shoulders and said he is there to deliver it and if im not happy with the condition it arrives in to speak to the company. Yet when I spoke to them I got asked why didnt I refuse it as took a good 10 mins to get them to agree to come pick it up as wanted me to return it at a cost to me.
Apart from that everything has been fine.I like to think I can help but its for discussion purposes only so if I get it wrong please feel free to correct me.0 -
I have been let down and treated badly by Boots.com.
Did an online on 11th Dec, all items were in stock, - ordered for instore collection so I wouldn't miss the postman all christmas presents, included 6 boxes of chocolates, make up with "free gifts", ..... the delievery turned up on the 15th Dec - great, thought the box felt light,it was the chocs and make -up sets weren't in there, the store said the parcel would be a couple of days.
Last week no news, - had to go and buy replacement christmas presents, we'd arranged to meet some friends, live 2 hrs away - 2 boxes chocs were for them plus the "freebie" items, then it came toposting dates had to buy more items - must of spent £60 replaceing everything.
The order turned up Christmas Eve..... when I rang the store back, explained it was a farce, they said while its Xmas can you not eat the chocolates as we don't accept chocolates as returns...Even when I explained I was diabetic, I couldn't eat the chocs and that I'd come to the store and open the box with a member of staff there.... not our problem, ring Boots.com on Saturday....and also it was my fault for ordering chocolates I must realise its Christmas........ doh.... If the item had of showed up out of stock, or due in date I wouldn't of ordered them......
So wish me luck, the store manager wouldn't speak to me, he kept relaying messages to the staff member on the phone.
I had an issue about 6 weeks ago with the local store, and after complaining Boots.com gave me a £70 gift voucher for the inconvience.
Its the point that if you order a parcel that states delievery to the store on xx date, then that parcel should be ready for collection not another week and half later and Xmas eve as well.
xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -

That said, we've had no real problems, only real one was with Play who seem to be doing the "it's in stock, but we're not goiung to send it yet" fiasco. We cancelled eventually, ordered the same thing from the Hut... and they've sent something that looks like it's been opened, then re-sealed with a cheapo shrink-wrapping machine (a PS3 game that arrived... but wasn't sealed in official PS branded wrap).
Probably should have mentioned in my post re CD Wow that when I pre-ordered the DVD in Nov it was stated in the description to be Region Free, once it had been dispatched it was changed to to Region 1 in the item description - I've emailed them about that but they've not replied.0 -
Argos. Ordered 2 purple bikes, got one horrible shocking pink one, and one boys one(i mean !!!!!!!) which was in a sealed box that said girl's bike and had a picture of a bike with tassells on the side.
Too late to do much about it now and had got same thing for all 3 DD's so their main gift will have to wait until sunday!Mum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession:o

Currys - were supposed to deliver a dishwasher on Christmas Eve for my parents Christmas present and phoned in the morning to say it hadn't been loaded.
This was a joint present between me & my sisters so it's going to be rubbish to only have a picture of the dishwasher to give them
