CD Wow - ordered 02/12 for Xmas pressie - still on 'backorder'
The Hut.com - couple of t-shirts sent but not arrived, asked for replacements but their e-mail said wait 10 working days till ..... too late for Xmas.
Postoptics - (this did pee me off) as it's me contact lenses and I'm on my last monthly. They were ordered/paid for a month ago, when they didn't arrive I checked my account and they were 'awaiting stock' ... for 3 weeks ... Monday they were 'dispatched' so great, in time for Xmas, but no show yet.0 -

That said, we've had no real problems, only real one was with Play who seem to be doing the "it's in stock, but we're not goiung to send it yet" fiasco. We cancelled eventually, ordered the same thing from the Hut... and they've sent something that looks like it's been opened, then re-sealed with a cheapo shrink-wrapping machine (a PS3 game that arrived... but wasn't sealed in official PS branded wrap).
just reminded me,only company to 'let me down' is play
ordered a Fisher Price: Little People Racin' Ramps Garage which showed in stock
now has been awaiting stock since the 14th
my boys got plenty for xmas so he can have it for his birthday in Feb but its annoying
ps: you cant blame RM for everything0 -

Not even a reply to my E-Mail.0 -
I forgot to put JD Williams surprised me. I ordered something on 15th May and it arrived on 26th November. Think that's the longest i've ever had to wait for something.
It was a bonus though because i'd totally forgotten about it so it was like getting a present when in turned upIf At First You Don't Succeed, Call It Version 1.00 -

John Lewis. Ordered 23 Nov, Promised for 14Dec. First available delivery 4 Jan
John Lewis here too. Order despatched on the 17th to arrive within a few days and not here in time despite the delivery option being £3 - delivered in time for Christmas. They blame Royal Mail [FONT=Verdana, Arial, Helvetica]

Play.com have failed to get my PS3 here for the big day. Not too worried, as it was only for me, not the kids. Toys-R-Us delivered a doll, at a cost of 5 quid, which looked like someone had sat on the box. They were great though and refunded the postage no worries.0

Halfcost - Ordered a bed 2nd December, finally delivered 21st December with 1 box missing, being the slats and all the fixings missing to put any of it together.
You can't call them and the 1 email they have bothered to reply to read, don't think we have any of the missing slats here for any of the stock, we can collect it if you want us to! No I want the rest of my order as I need a bed. As a result I have been charged for a box of bits of wood that was supposed to be a Christmas present for my son. Bought new bedding and everything, really cross with them and will never use them again.
I've been all around the DIY stores and the bed shops seeing if I can find the correct fixings to fix it together myself with no luck, I can make the slats but the fixings are the problem.0 -
I've had somne problems this year with internet shopping. An ebay seller sent a despatch notification early December, no goods arrived, when I contacted them they said they were awaiting stock. I cancelled with refund.
Amazon - book was sent but never turned up, refunded but had to get something in it's place.
Play.com - still waiting for a game to be back in stock, it'll do for his birthday if it comes in time (early February!)
A return to John Lewis has now had 2 courier collection dates - first was weather problem, don't know about the second one. As I'm off work next week I'm taking it back to one of their stores, I need the refund!
And then my Sainsbury's food delivery was cancelled because of the snow.
Never mind, got it all sorted in the end but it doesn't help the stress levels (or the bank balance, it takes so much longer for them to give the money back!)
Merry Christmas everyone. :beer:If swimming is good for your figure, can someone please explain whales?0 -
