Which company has let you down this Christmas?

Play for me too - ordered on 8th when item was in stock, then after a few days it went to "dispatched in 4-5 days", then last week went to "dispatched in 10 days". I finally phoned them and the girl told me they "might" have stock in the new year.

Guess I'll be saving that one for his birthday!

Amazon, ordered an item for hubby for xmas a couple of weeks ago, had an email to say it would be despatched between 12th and 14th Dec and nothing since, when I emailed them a couple of days ago I got an email back stating the order had been cancelled the day after I placed it as it was out of stock!, nice of them to let me know!! its now too late to get it from anywhere else

Waiting on an order from Corsets-Uk, was ordered and paid for well before their 3pm for dispatch that day on Monday, paid extra for the faster delivery, so should have been 1 - 2 days, still no sign of it.

But I am not convinced its them, as other people have received their orders

House of Bath - ordered item from their website on the 7th December, yesterday they send me an email saying the item is out of stock.

Strike another one for Play.com.

Ordered 21 Nov and to be fair they said it was out of stock but would be back in within 10 days.

24 Dec and still no item, email of complaint yesterday resulted in reply stating "Item currently being restocked". That could mean anything!!:mad:

The Gazelle has nothing to come now, got my last QVC order yesterday, they promised delivery by Christmas, and sure enough it arrived.

I have arrived at the conclusion, that if I don't have it now, then tough..........after all, the shops open up again Saturday, and you can start all over again. Merry Christmas to all. xx

Another one for Amazon, ordered 5 or 6 parcels 2 and a half weeks ago, 2 came within 2 days. 1 came yesterday and I'm still waiting on the other 2...all of which were in stock and despatched within 3 days of placing the order. It's all had me stressed to the eyeballs. If those 2 don't come today I'm 2 presents down and out in the rush to replace them at a total cost of £47.98 from HMV as opposed to Amazon's total of £29.98.

Tesco entertainment - cd sent out 3 December did not arrive and the replacement hasn't either. Luckily I ordered it again from HMV on Saturday and it arrived yesterday so if/when the Tesco one gets here I'll send it back!
