Hello one and all
I have braved the weather as I needed to get out. Was going crazy! Poppy's nursery was open today so I dropped her off then me and Jamie went to collect my mega Pampers wipes order at Boots. And my Body Shop order has just arrived. Yay!
Weezl, don't jinx me on this sleeping business!. We only moved him back to his own room at the weekend and I obviously missed him more than he missed me
.
Maz, gorgeous pics of Henry and William and he looks dapper in his xmas top!
Poor MM! Hope bum feels better soon!
Aless, we got two measely letters today after having none delivered for two days. My post is in a sorting office piling up somewhere!
Very exciting, SS! Have you booked your flights yet and forgiven the postman?!
AF, a few of us have chosen Engage Mutual as Quidco offer £50 cashback. I'm not using it as a savings account so was not too fussed on the type iyswim? Might be worth a look?
Hammy, hope the boiler is in working order soon!!
Lovely pic of Toby, Feely!
Hope your Dad gets better soon, Choppy.
Yay for Kian's passport!
AF, that is so very sad. Hugs.
Sorry if I've missed anyone!. I was trying to read through as best I can but get very impatient when there are lots of pages
.

I didn't get chance to post yesterday as my dad went to hospital with chest pains and tingles down one of his arms. All is OK though and he's been diagnosed with an infection round the heart which he's got some tablets for, rather than anything more sinister.
I'm just eating lunch while Caitlin is asleep so will read back as much as I can. Might not get chance to get on again today, as have lots do do and mum is coming round for the afternoon soon.
Oh, when I came on yesterday morning for a quick read, I remember that MFD's Benjamin had started clapping - well done!!!!
An infection around the heart? I have never heard of anything like that before...your dad is clearly unique! Hope he gets better soon.
Hope your bum gets better too MM
MFD we have a Stokke crib and it came with some weirdish beige blankets and a pillowcase. Are those the ones you mean? Can I take it out with the Baby Bjorn and have people think I have a posh pushchair at home?
The blanket is the same as the inside lining of the footmuff - white with what looks like fruit polos on itThe official citizen thing is very pleasing isn't it Jillieshould sort out our little one's second passport really but hassles... might please OH though hmm.
LOL - I read this without the hassles and thought that you were wondering whether to do it because it might please OH!! Was going to scour your posts for signs of terrible marital tension!
Oh my - I popped to Sainsburys to pick up some bits and some lunch and I am now sat here with:
Wholemeal rolls
Emmental (why is it SO different to other cheeses?)
Mushroom Pate
Roasted Red Pepper Hummous
Large King Prawns (packet reduced to £1.34!)
Dijon Mustard Mayo
And
Onken Strawberry Wholegrain Yoghurt!!
Yummy, but what a piggie!!!please listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -
Right. Caught up!Millie's_Mum wrote: »Ladybird i read your review on bizziebaby of the koodi one, does it come far enough up to stop baby falling forwards out of it? Eloise doesn't stop moving unless she is asleep and if often referred to as Harriet (houdini) so need to be sure its something secure.
TBH, I've not used it for a while, so not sure how secure it would be for Izzy now - she is a right wiggler! When she was smaller it came right up to her arm pits, but she has been growing while I've not been looking (need to try and measure her again, but she might be too wiggly for that too!). I don't know if any of the other makes are a bit more sturdy.hammyhunter wrote: »OH MY WORD  Sorting the car is no longer a priority. Oh my! Whereabouts is it you live? The tractor made me laugh too. At least you have the stove to keep you snug - it could be quite romantic camping out in front of the fire!chopsticks wrote: »Hi everyone

Eep, I'm glad he is (relatively) ok, that must have been really scary for you all.
and all those sad storiesI had to turn the tv off earlier, as all the adverts were obviously aimed at soppy mums who are at home during the day - lots of adverts for NSPCC and stuff, which were just upsetting me. I know they are being upsetting in a good cause, but me sitting watching them and getting upset just doesn't achieve anything.

I kind of sit Benjamin on my lap so he is firmly wedged with my arms around him and then hold the book away from us both...or give him another book to chew on whilst I read to him. Mostly he just wants to 'help' to turn the pages
Weezl's suggestion is much better

MFD - i'd take the wholemeal rolls, hummus and mustard off your hands but you can keep the rest0

Bruno - did you register his birth at the embassy? if so, then getting passport is fairly straightforward, though the $85 fee is annoying!
Sadly not - so it is probably not fairly straightforward!My_Fathers_Daughter wrote: »

Well there is a degree of OH-needing-cheering-up going on, if not marital tension per se! But obviously in the long run Elijah having dual citizenship and passports has the potential to be handy!angelfairy wrote: »oh she enjoys a chop on her baby spoons so i could give that a try when i start my routine.

You made me snort :rotfl::rotfl:
I did see that OH is finding things tough but everyone else got there before me and I didn't have anything constructive to add. FWIW I think that Elijah going to some kind of nursery/daycare for a couple of mornings or afternoons (if that is when it is tougher for OH) a week would be of great benefit to all of you. Elijah would love making some little friends and will come on in leaps and bounds, OH would have a little her time to spoil herself and you would feel that the weight has been lifted for a little while.please listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -
