Did I hear you say earlier that you need to lose weight? I'm sure it was you and i'm sure it was you that posted pics the other day and you didn't look like you needed to lose weight - I may have got the wrong person as I mix people up easily!
Well, we sorted it 50% payback and 50% work. She was quite cool about it after the tears, but as Tia? said yesterday, every child/person is different, so what works for one...
I appreciated the advice yesterday. I'm only a mere Dad who sometimes gets things wrong and sometimes needs an outside viewespecially as my little girls (who will be my little girls when they are in their 40's and beyond) are very protected by me and sometimes I may miss something.
oh, thats a good compromise i think! :T
I dont think I was online when you first stated it, but late last night you mentioned about being £84 lighter, and I was intrigued, so i went noseying!!
it was me syaing about starting back to sliming world.....the pictures only showed (is that correct grammar!?) my face! not my post-baby belly! But that is very kind of you for saying so!I would just like to tone up and lose about a stone. currently size 16 and would like to be on the large sife of 12, small side of 14 (to start with!)

Hello Keely :j How are you?
I do love that name Weezlie - and very much love Kester.
Molly won't be christened because neither Husband nor I is a Christian and so it would be hypocritical. My father's side of the family all do it although they don't believe (presents and party) and half my mother's side are fundamentalist Christians so they all do.
Carla I LOLled at that too :rotfl:
Edit: Ebay seems to be working a bit faster for me now - listing my 5th item, 5 more after this one to go :jOrganised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

Also, it's somewhere safe to leave her to sleep when she's mobile, so thought we'd try and get her used to it now. It's not going too well though. She'll be sleepy soon, so we'll see how it goes this afternoon :-S.

Do you think she might be in a panic thinking its night time and not feeling ready for her bed? Have you thought about a travel cot in the lounge or something?0 -

Have you tried the ORganix finger food thingies, or baby biscuits? They are quite expensive, and I always thought I wouldn't give Izzy that kind of thing, but sometimes you just have to give in a feed baby what baby will eat!
We are off to venture to the supermarket- nearly out of loo roll  If I'm not back in later send in search and rescue(I would be able to see Tesco from my house if there weren't trees in the way - we should be ok!)
Hope the trip out is okay!
I'm doing BLW and LO will eat anything, just not in great quanities. Favourite things are casseroles and stews, apple, carrot, sandwiches, cheese wraps, baby biscuits, rice cakes, rice, curry. He seems to enjoy it, he loves biting and chewing, and does swallow, but just doesn't each much. He never refuses anything, but just loses interest or gets full. He just really, really loves milk! He is clever though, OH gave him a cup with water in and he drank from it! He didn't spill any, tipped it up and had some, put it down and repeated it until he'd drank it all!Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0 -
ooooh yes, judge Kester
me likey
Well, a lovely MSE friend had a baby shower for me on MSE before fergie came. And some trolls came on and said it was tantamount to child abuse to be calling him Fergus. So DH and I had a big chat and still really loved the name, but decided that if he ever did feel that his name was too unusual, we'd give him an easy way to opt out of that, by having Jonathan as his first name.
Once established, our families now feel it's important to do the same thing with Kester, else they might have squabbles over why it's different. I'm not so fussed about that. I reckon they'll squabble about all sorts anyway! But I respect where our families are coming fromSorry long answer!
:rotfl::rotfl:at your muslim MIL wanting Keira christened. Also :rotfl:at the Hot Crossed Tum!
thats awful weezl!! maybe not a popular name right now but who wants to be called the same as everyone else?chopsticks wrote: »She goes down quite happily in her pram (which we keep in the hall), maybe semi-cries for 90 seconds at the most but not always, she often plays a bit then just goes to sleep. Jillie - CDs are easy to list on ebay as all you need to do is enter the barcode and it does the title, track listing etc for you. I don't think they go for much though

How are you?
HelloI'm ok thank you, how are you?
Christmas here has been lovely (minus OH having tooth problems). We spent it with half the family-first xmas in a long time that i've been at my parents on xmas day. It felt right though, Elliot had a great time
Just a shame that my eldest sister and one brother didn't see us at all. Won't go on a downer about it, but it did pee me off to be honest. Elliot has been ignored by them, and i just get annoyed because of that.
Elliot's new achievements include getting onto his sit on car thing by himself (he properly cocks his leg over to get on!), climbing onto a lot of things, dancing with his arms now (shrugs his shoulders and moves his arms to music when dancing). He holds his arms out for me to pick him up, then he is like a baby monkey wrapping his legs around me and not letting go!

mel on gift i know what im getting just sorting the money to get it .. and my monthly budget it getting sorted nowx
Would it be silly to share lists, well tbh I haven't finished my list but maybe I could find inspiration in what you and 3 are getting for people...maybe we could put who they are, male/female, age and budget as well as what we are think of for them.....I bet you could save me a load of cash;)Millie's_Mum wrote: »Hi Mel, how are you and your boys? are they off with the snow? Not forgetting bump, did you find out the gender? How is Kai's eating going now, is he still better with eating as a family?
Sorry, ran off to do bottles then got distracted drilling hols in the fireplace to secure the firegaurd!!
Kai is eating like a dream now we are all sat together eating and he is just left to get on with it...he isn't great with his spoon yet but just gobbles it all up with his hands. Pain in the bum though, when he has finished he won't just stop eating, he seems to HAVE to get rid of his dish altogether so chucks it on the floor even when there is still food in it:rolleyes:My_Fathers_Daughter wrote: »Are all the babies on here christened or going to be christened? We haven't had Benjamin christened because we don't go to church and it seems a bit hypocritical for us to do so just for a ceremony (same reason we didn't get married in church).
...not that I am commenting on anyone elses choices, merely curious
No not getting Kai or next one christened....We are not religious at all. We did have a naming ceremony for the two older boys though, which was nice. If I do anything then it will be this again......I will get them done together, like I did the older two:)
ETA Even though it was a naming ceremony all the grandparents still call it a christening, so it sort of appeases them:DUnless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,
Nothing is going to get better. It's not.0
