I received this email on 29 December 09. Again a complete pack of lies which the company will no doubt refute. Personally if i do not get the toy by 05 Jan 09 I will be paying these people a visit. Anyone wish to join me?

    Hello.

I'm so sorry you've not received your knitted character.

I will escalate this for you in addition to having a character sent recorded guaranteed next day delivery tomorrow, refunding your original order and also checking with Royal Mail the whereabouts of your package.

Again, the sincerest of apologies. Should you wish a personal response, please forward me your telephone details and my colleague will call you personally.

    Hope this helps.

    All the very best :o)

i have no need to email you as i havent placed an order with you
however i have taken an interest in this thread and posted on it so feel free to reply on the thread

that was a quote from your company, yes?

It is impossible to address individual claims without an order reference number. We have sent a personal message via this forum to the individual concerned. If you would like a knitted character, please email your details and we'd be happy to supply one free of charge in support of our company - it would also give you an opportunity to witness the product. Thank you.

Cirrion I have just received a refund through google checkout after responding to a pm, so they are genuine, suggest you pm them with your original order number too. Its just a shame that the KC's weren't posted out special delivery on the 21st as promised, then this situation wouldn't have occured.

Let me help resolve your question.

Only for individual queries did we send special delivery ie when a package had not arrived via standard Royal Mail 1st class and we had a customer email us personally, we dispatched special delivery. This was to a very very small number of customers who emailed to follow up the order and at a considerable administrative and financial cost to our dispatch team, you'll note the email you quoted was of a personal ie not automated nature, from one of our knitted team members. Its of note that yourself, as an individual who has not actually ordered from our company, should be aware that at each stage of the checkout process it explicitly details the P&P as 1st Class Royal Mail - delivered for xmas. Again, we dispatched special delivery on an individual basis as we did, with ever confidence, rely on the Royal Mail to honour its terms of 1st class post ie to arrive in 1 - 2 days. Our post made prior on this forum does offer an address toward this.

Indeed some customers received their original order for the product, albeit late due to weather, in addition to a second effectively free of charge that arrived via the next day service. Again, it is impossible to address individual orders without a reference and the individual who posted has been contacted directly via this forums internal messaging. You'll note use HELEN1965 has returned to post a comment of satisfaction in an issued refund. We are doing the very best we can.

I hope this is somewhere toward addressing your question. Again, please take a look at our previous comment on your post in our offer to send a knitted character to you without cost.

This is a complete lie as my email dated 29 December 2009 states

Thank you Helen. We are concerned this individual has not received the product when sent, at considerable administrative and financial cost to our dispatch team, a special delivery package. A private message has been sent to the user in an attempt to resolve this situation. We really are doing the very best we can.

    "Phew!

Thanks so much to those who have sent us thank you xmas cards and for the delightful comments we've received thus far - it's really appreciated.

Hope this helps and thanks again :o) "

I then receved this automated email from you on 21st December

    "Phew!

We hope you enjoy your knitted character as much as we have creating him :o)"

Had you not sent these emails I would not have waited in for my post like a lemon on 22nd, 23rd and 24th December when I could have been out shooping for an alternative Christmas present instead!

its sad really, with a little planning you could have got your items delivered with a tracked service for less than SD

    http://www.royalmail.com/portal/rm/content1?mediaId=52700708&catId=46800683#29700229

i am assuming you would be meeting the min requirement of 5000 items per year
coupled with offering customers safeplace and not having to be in for signatures
