What's wrong with doing good, exactly?

I'm not sure what on earth posters' politics has to do with the knitted character. Or is anyone who has differing opinions from yours 'brainwashed'?

FYI, I used to work for BBC News and we took such time ensuring all was balanced that it became a headache! But well-done ponitificating on matters upon which you know nothing.
  • I paid for one of these things. Had the usual email 'it will be with you by recorded delivery' etc

There are too many of these crooks out there. I am going to contact the police after the weekend and let ITV know what is happening.

I agree this is only a small matter but just say 5000 have bought these toys. Thats £75000.

Sorry to hear that another person has been robbed like me. I'd be interested to see what the police say on the issue, I'd be willing to give them my details (and I'm sure many others on here would as well).
  • Been to whois dot net and the owner info is protected by www dot contactprivacy dot com, go to that website and enter harryhillknittedcharacter dot com and it will let you email either the owner, admin or billing. (there is more than one way to skin a cat)

I emailed them and am awaiting a reply seeing as the one on the website no longer works.

Sorry for not been able to put links in, its because my post count on the forum is too low.
  • Ok been on the ukdata website h**p://www(dot)ukdata(dot)com/numbers/07085283.html and there is all the info on the owner including address and the date the company was registered on the 24/11/09

You can also use the postcode on google maps and find the location.

No you need to get a bloody grip. It's a bear. You are not going to die if you don't get it. Sue them and get your money back that way. It's that easy. Get active and send a letter instead of sitting on here whinging about not having it - grow some balls and do something about it. I've told you how to but clearly that information was not good enough for you.

As for kids being promised something because it has come from Santa, any parent with the slightest amount of common sense would not promise their child would get something if they did not actually have to give them. You are just asking for trouble. Advice they'll give that parent at a parenting class in 5-7 years time when the kid is chucking a tantrum over every little thing they cannot have and running that parents life. Unless you get a grip and deal with things like this when they are younger and give your kids some values.

I dont need advice from you how to run my life or what to do.What makes you think I have not done all these things.I shall continue to post and say whatever I want without you trying to give me unwanted advice.I don't need nor want your advice on what to do.Save it for someone else.

unlike you, other people on this forum have not had any need to go to parenting classes. That says a lot about your parenting.People who live in glass houses should not throw stones.

Me too. Ordered 3rd December, was told despatched next day guaranteed packet post 21st December, still not received as of 31st December.

I think...if it had been despatched when stated, that I definitely would have received it by now - bad weather or no bad weather (incidently still haven't had any snow at all in my area).

BTW, I would be interested to know from those who did receive their KC's, how many of you had opened a dispute with paypal/google first. I had given the company the benefit of the doubt up until now, but asked google to mediate yesterday.

Happy New Year everyone x

proud to be dealing with my debts
  • I placed an order well before the 10th Dec. Noticed the following week that 2 payments had been deducted from my account for a Harry Hill Knitted Character.

Have still not received the Item, I have emailed to no avail. Being an E-commerce Manager for a large retail site myself. I could not believe how I fel for this... Payment should only be taken when goods are despatched. They have clearly broken laws here, goods have not arrived and have a very unhappy daughter.

I now have to dispute the payment with my bank which will cause my card to be cancelled and re-issued.
