Hey Ladies
Springclean - thank you for your comments. Well done on etting published...that must be brilliant. Thing is, i don't have the imagination to write anything interesting. I could do kids, affairs, abba, Kirstie Bl**din' Allsop but that's your lot! What kind of thing do you write yourself?
Whitelillies - I'm so sorry you're having a bad time. Make no mistake, i have had my own 'smash his face in' moments (and in fact, I did do something quite shameful along those lines). Come on girl, spill the beans, you'll feel better if you tell us about it.
I am still watching Love Actually. Here's a question...who is most delicious in this film a)Hugh Grant b)Alan Rickman c)Colin Firth. Or put another way, Who Would You If You Had To?
x0 -
For the record, Colin Firth, although he always seems to play the same bashful, English-gent type. Except in mama mia of course, but that doesn't count

Hands off Colin Firth, he's mine. I said it first!!! You're left with Alan Rickman, sorry :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Thanks for the laughs girls, gotta go though as my daughter has just got up.

Is Liam Neeson in this film? If so, surely he is worth a gander?
Lilac Blue, you are one amazing lady, seriously, I would be in bits if I had been through such a situation as yours. I hope you manage to have a good Christmas despite all this and that the New Year brings you the right decision, the right course, the right path for you and your children. this morning I came down expecting him to be dressed, ready to go, maybe having done some 'penance' jobs like give the kids breakfast/empty the dishwasher etc, but no, he's LYING ON THE SOFA WATCHING TELLY!! Suffice to say, he left shortly after!
On a different note, something has been bothering me, ladies. Kirstie Allsop and her bl**ding Homemade Christmas. Should I start a new thread dedicated to this? For some reason I am very opinionated on this subject. Will update later!
For those of you online, switch off for a bit, switch on the telly and enjoy Love Actually with me. Aaaah, good times! x
Oh well guess he can freeze in the car from now on-What a muppet LOL
I haven't seen the Homemade Christmas thing.......but I suspect your thread will be great. Gave you started it yet ?
BTW I know I owe you a PM haven't forgotten just don't want to reply to yours in a hurry as there's a few things in it I want to respond toI Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole

Hi Lilac
I've just read your whole thread and I must say you are amazing and doing very well. Your posts have been very inspirational to me. Im also going through a marriage ending and determined never to go back! Im into week 3. Slightly different situation from yours in that he never cheated that I know of, but he was alcoholic and was very abusive. I called it a day and threw him out as I had enough of our 4 kids witnessing stuff they should never have to see.
I will continue reading your thread, as I have taken alot of strength from your posts and the amazing advice your getting on here.
I also find your writing style a pleasure to read and very witty.
Well done!!!0
