    I started a post about how the others are all very young, and those who aren't have teenagers, but in truth it's what makes me know it's just me that doesn't fit in. I don't know why because I do try and I don't think I'm offensive! In a way I wish there was something I did wrong because noones ever told me and it could be something I'd change. If I smelt or swore a lot!

    But I simply think people don't take to me at all... and I'm not a solitary person at all, I'm miserable on my own. Although having said that, I have recently prefered solitude to a 'new' relationship, after a long shift I'm happier slobbing around than having to put some effort in! :D

    (is Gumtree not for selling things??!)

    Just quickly skimming through & a few things have struck me

    the doctor can offer more than medication what about counselling/information about groups in the area

    what about learning to drive as a hobby ?? I know it is expensive but if you passed your test & got a rundaround car the world would be your oyster

    make a list of all the positives bet they outweight the negatives

    health
    healthy children
    independance
    your own space
    control of the remote
    no smelly underpants/socks to wash ( except the kids )
    your age
    comfortable pants
    the whole bed to yourself
    26 child free weekends a year ( yes I have kids sometimes a break is good )
    Busy mum of 3, so if my posts don't make sense or ask a silly question be patient:rotfl:

    I understand what you mean,
    I don't think there is anything wrong with me as I get on well with fellow workers but it never progresses past the pleasentries.
    I had hoped when my little boy started preschool this year I might make friends with a fellow mum but unfortunatly the ones that go for a coffee together go on the day that I work and D.S's nanny takes him to school.
