My new bill will be here around sep 5th. Changed to a summary and got a full credit back for the days since my contract started = )

  • Well, I can report that I am still getting an itemised bill with NO charge despite the fact that when I originally complained about the charge I asked to opt out of receiving an itemised bill. Maybe they have had a re-think. But I will probably still change providers at the end of my contract as I am fed up of their automated phone system and operators (when you finally get through) who do not seem to give a fig.
The box said "Windows 98 or better". So I got a Mac...
  • The saga continues i rang the telephone watchdog only to be kept on hold forever with the reasurring tape of ' we do not investigate individual cases'. What is the point of these people.
I cancelled my itemised twice by phone and twice by text before it worked. When i would speak to 'customer services' they new straight away that i had complained but could never find anything regarding my previous cancellations. Orange has turned in to a crap firm. You could see it coming as over the last year or two there staff have become really anti orannge. If your staff think your rubbish what hope
  • I got my itemised bill with no charge as well this week. They clearly don't now what they are doing. My contract runs out next May and unless there's a big change before then I will be saying ta-ta.

does texting BILL to 2018 still work to cancel itemised billing? and can people confirm, that after doing this you can definitely still view your itemised bill online, as i do need to be able to see it in some form.

this is annoying, but even worse is the charge for delivery reports i have now noticed on my bill. 1p per report which doesn't sound too bad, but if i use all my 500 texts a month, that's £5! so looks like i'll be switching those off, even though they are a really useful feature.

Tried this morning, it no longer works, you get a text reply asking to ring 150.

Is this itemised billing 'optional' then?

Has anyone ever been charged this £1.50 for itemised billing? Have they done a U turn on this idea?

I texted to cancel in june on two phones. Have not been charged for billing but still receive two itemised bills every month. Had the same contract with them for >5years so no probs in cancelling if they really start to get under my skin

Well I ignored the statement regarding this £1.50 charge on the bottom of the May bill and I have never been charged!

I was charged £1.50 for my first itemised bill. Bit bizarre as I'd only had the phone a week at the time. So I signed up under their new T&Cs, didn't realise itemised were chargable 'til I got my first [didn't know I'd be charged VAT on my monthly bill, either!]

Rang CS and got it changed to a [free] statement right after that!
