My bill stated that i was not charged for this month but will be charged from next month.
  • Has any 1 been sucessful in canceling their contract over this itemised billing?

I've got two contracts, I've sent in the 2nd complaint letter and they replied back stating that it needed to be addressed to their manager so I've done that now and sent it again!!

As for the other contract received a phone call and they were happy to offer me free itmised billing for the remainder of my contract and I said i still wasnt happy with this and they then asked why as the intial reason to cancel was because of this charge! I said I'd call them back after thinking about it, but just going to post the complaint letter....anyone had any luck or made better progress?

  • They told me that I could also get them to read me bills out for me. Might try it to !!!!!! them off. Best time to do it's probably at about 10 to 1 cos most of their centres close at 1am and it's bad customer service to pass the customer onto someone else just because they wanna go home. :-D

I followed onlyfair's advice and at last have had my contract cancelled.

They eventually phoned and offered to waive the itemised charge (refused as it was now too late and I had made alternative arangements), then offered to cancel if I gave back handset (refused - not part of the contract). Again asked for written request for a deadlock letter, sent that in and they then phoned up and gave in.

    Grateful thanks to onlyfair.
  • hey at last! ive writen a letter requesting that they cancel my contract and said that the situation is dead locked so hopefully ill be able to do the same!

Wow, well done those who managed to get their contracts cancelled early. I urge those of you that are still in the process not to give up - this is consumer revenge at its best :)

I managed to get my T Mobile contract cancelled a couple of years ago (it's how I found this site) and it was very satisfying.

Thanks to onlyfair for the great tips.
