Quite a bad night here, hence the early post:rolleyes: So thought Id kick the pain killers in early as we are aiming on leaving at about 9-10am:j :j :j

OH has to drop the dragons off this morning as it was too late by the time his mate got in last night. Have a whole list of things to tick before we leave though. Get pack lunch ready etc for the trip-wont pay service station prices! DD & I also need a bath before we leave so we're all refreshed:eek:

We are seriously going to have to work out finances for a newer car as the wheelchair takes most the boot space up and dont think I'll be out of me wheels anytime soon:rolleyes:

Anyway, Id best go and hope everyone has a great week and not too miss me too much:p :p:p

Hugs and kisses to all. Especially to me "special mates" who have been there for me the last few months.

    All the best.

    Morning all.

DH has taken children to swim club, so bit of time to myself. Need to iron, clean the oven, and sort holiday insurance before he's back. DS then at footie training (what is it with football, when I was a child, June was the cricket season?!?).

Bit subdued today - friend of mine died from leukaemia yesterday morning. She'd not been ill for long, colds that she just couldn't shake off. Then at the start of June she was taken to hospital, and has been on a ventilator since. She was a lovely person. Her name will be on my Race for Life top next week.

Off to midsummer barbeque tonight, so making profiteroles. DD going to birthday party. She said that she'd like to make double choc flapjack, wrap it in a box with a big ribbon, as the present. That's my girl! She also bought a pair of earrings half price in Claire's, to go with it.

Not much else ATM, will post later, garden permitting.

    Penny. x

    Morning everyone :hello:

Just a quick message before I get myself sorted!

OH is just about to pop down to the butcher's to get some meat for our barbie with my parents back in sunny Lincolnshire. Although there will be five of us, my brother and dad are a small army between them..... so we're catering for about 7!

At 10.30 we're looking round a house! It looks quite similar to the house that we're currently renting. It's on the same road, but it looks like the bedrooms are slightly larger and a different layout downstairs (like kitchen at the front instead of the back....). We'll see......

I've also got the washing up to do. Hmmmmmm, joy!

On our way up to my parents' we're popping into Lincoln to see the florist for our wedding. She needs a swatch of bridesmaids fabric, so I'd better not forget it  :D

Have a good day everyone

    :hello: Gooooooood Morning, OS'ers :D:D:D

Still have 20min whip round to do - slow start today, had to debrief 12yo on the events of last nights BB  Chook all done though. Windows all open and airing. Footie training for d12yo today, but d10yo isn't well enough. Had him in with me last night, the poor little mite was absolutely burning up, disorientated and quite distressed. It's awful watching your child in that condition. Still, he's brighter this morning but he still isn't right or eating yet. His brother is valiantly eating eating his share so there's not wastage (gosh! What a hero!! :rotfl: )

    B: HM muesli
    L: Sprouted seed salad
D: Lasagne with yogurt topping and hm coleslaw; blancmange with shortcake
D10yo can have whatever he wants/can hold down ;)

All being well, we're off to a bbq tomorrow so I want to make some spicy lamb kebabs to take along and d12yo wants to make some hummus as his contribution.

Mushy - after all the different events, ups and downs of the past few weeks, hardly surprising you're feeling low! Wishing you a brighter day today. Good luck with your plans :):):)

    Penny - ((sincere condolences))

    PP - enjoy the break.

apple_mint - ooooh, elderflower cordial  Have fun making it :)

twink - gift shopping can be such fun :D Hope you find just what you are looking for at a price to match ;):D

    Have a super Saturday :D:D

    Morning everyone,

I do apologise for the infrequent posting, been just so busy at work this term. Mushy peas I hope you have an especially nice day hun. Check out teaching union will back you up if you join now, often they will only put up a decent fight for long term members. What do you teach?

pp- you seem to be having a rough ride with pain just now, hope it improves.

I am having a housework day today. Usually go to car boot on a saturday am, but quite tired. dd at a friend's today, so won't be back until about 10pm.
