My html has given up the ghost again doh!

Just genral tidying planned for today,
I have decided to get a move on with sorting stuff out so I can start child minding, I have the qualification, just need to do something with it.
Also going to plant some tatties, so quite a busy day here in castle frey.
Just wandering if any one has heared from curry queen lately, havent seen her about in months Hope ur ok if reading.

Mornin' everyone. Thought I'd sneak a post in here.
Roz: thanks NOT for reminding me that it's the solstice today. That means it's all downhill from now on to the long dark nights of winter.
Had to get up early this morning to get big, wild cat ready for vet's. He's having a dental today so hasn't been fed since last night at 8 p.m. This has meant he's tried all his usual tricks to get fed but none of them worked. Now the suite in the front room is shredded even more . . .
Today got to clean bathroom, shower room and kitchen floor. What joy.
Lunch: think I might cheat and buy a beef salad sandwich on ciabatta. Because I'll need to go earlier to see 94-year-old mum and then I can get back in time to pick up big, wild cat after his dental.
Tea: something with sausage. Penninewoman and I'll make that together when she gets in.
Seems like a fairly light day compared with the rest of you.
Sorry.Where now?0 -
MushyPeas wrote:Last night, whilst trying to complete the car insurance details online I came upon a grand plan to create a car 'master document' to make it easier when filling in all the details. I now have, in one place a document listing:
- Driving licence details, when passed test, penalties
- Car make, model, when registered, when purchased, looked at old MOT certificates and calculated annual mileage
- Insurance; yearly costs (gosh it has gone up!), excess, no claims bonuses, insurance claims; dates and costs
- List of websites searched and quotes

Morning all,
I'm ashamed to say that I didn't do a single thing at home this morning. DW was on overnight and BF emptied it this morning before I got up. There was no washing to do so I stayed in bed reading and reading and reading....and then ended up 10mins late for work.:o Ooops.
Elona - sorry to hear about your dad. Hopefully he'll settle well into the hospice. They are such wonderful places and hopefully it'll be able to give you a bit of a rest too.
MushyPeas - urgh, I know what you mean about the student loans company. I've been trying to get mine sorted for months now and they still haven't managed to take any money out of my wages. They did say I could pay them direct by ringing up each month, but after the horror stories I've read in the papers, I'm a bit scared in case the money I'd have paid disappears into oblivion!
VickyA - thank you for your PM. Did you get my reply? How was the house you looked at yesterday?
I'm at w**k as usual this morning, complete with packed lunch (after I moaned yesterday about not bringing lunch, I popped over to Mr T's and found a yellow stickered chicken and bacon sandwich for 80p, so not too bad).
Hope everyone has a good day.

Quick question :
Are eggs BBE 10 June okay to use? They've been kept in the fridge since I bought themCreeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
Well, I have used eggs that far over their date - and I'm still here!!!
Only proviso is, make sure they are cooked - probably best not raw!0 -
Morning all
Happy birthday to moggins' DD (and to my sister too)
I've not done as much yet today. Washing hung out and WM on again, DW un/repacked and on, my bedroom tidied, a bit of vac'ing done upstairs too. I have managed to clear out and clean 2 kitchen drawers - will that do as a start to my FLC?
DS2 is at pre-school soon and then I have to nip into town. Have a list of jobs as I have lots of little bits and pieces to do. I did have a quite lucrative mystery shopping job to do, but it's been cancelledThey said I could drive to Lancaster to do it, but unfortunately I don't have time.
To do list :
DS2's bedroom - at least tidy and hoover sawdust from floor and make bed.
DS1's room - tidy, hoover (the major sort out can wait - it's not been that long since I did it)
Defrost some mince and make a chilli for tea
Make a start on some serious FL'ing inthe kitchen. However, I have so much stuff in there that to do it all in one day would be a bit daunting, so I'll try and do a few cupboards etc as I go along.
Vax the hall/stairs/landing carpets
Hmmm - may run out of time today...
However, I was moaning to Mr TM yesterday that my life is like Grounghog Day ATM - I clean and clear then I seem to get the neighbourhood kids in my house and it's back to square one within 10 mins. I said I'd love a cleaner to at least help out and do some of the jobs.... he said - "Well, get one"!! Much as I'd love to, we don't have the budget for one, but at least I know that he realises how much of my life I spend cleaning/looking after the house/kids/him etc and don't ever et a break. One day eh?
Right, talking of groundhog day....... :rotfl:
(((hugs))) to all

ps - I'm even having formatting problems this morning0 -
Ticklemouse - why does DS2 have sawdust on his floor? Are you sure it's his room or have you got him living in a gerbil cage by mistake
