Evening everyone. Thought i would do a quick post.
I am still feeling a bit grotty. My eyes are really gritty and sore from rubbing them. I managed to get a bit done at work today, so i do feel a bit more energised.
I managed to make a serious rookie error with packed lunch today. I thought i'd been super organised by preparing a salad last night for me to grab. Only this morning when i got to work, i discovered that i had actually picked up the cheese box. :rotfl: I also didn't have any dosh with me, so had to borrow some of a colleague.
My brother was having his tonsils out today, so i had best give mum a ring to see how he is, and then do something. Plan is to chop veggies for tea, and scrub the kitchen sink, and then i may get round to the bathroom, sticking a load of washing in the machine, and then perhaps the ironing if i am feeling really adventurous. Housework is really appealing compared to writing reports, which i will try to tackle when i have frees tomorrow without the head of department in school.
He asked today if we had managed to get our schemes of work written yet. (remember i was given 12 to do last week). I stuck up for myself and told him no, and the only reason he has is because he only teaches 9 lessons per fortnight, hasn't been overwhelmed by the cover list, and only has a few reports to write. So mwah
I'd best ring up the work experience places as well before the weekend to organise visiting the 6 kids i have to see..
Take care everyone.
Will be back tomorrow.

Well we have collected the car £151 for the service, they did some of the work under the mechanical warrenty that we have, then £71 for new tyre, so its not too bad, have paid for it on my Tesco credit card so I do not have to draw the money from my savings account until August, so will get an extra months interest on it.
We have just finished supper.....watered some of the pots the rain last night did not get to them.........and we have our first beetroot from the allotment.

Evening everyone :hello:
Well, the viewing of the house last night went ok. I can't help feeling that there's something better out there. Although we're First Time Buyers, I want something more than we can afford :rolleyes:We're going to see what else is out there before deciding......... or alternatively get Phil and Kirsty in to sort us out
I've just received the latest Book People catalogue. I always like looking through it (and online  ), and it seems like they have an excellent selection of presents.
Supper tonight is yellow stickered soup from Asda - 45p for a fresh soup! Not too bad, but I know I could make it if I had more time. However, with reports to write and marking to do cooking soup from scratch (and we've got through the last batch) is just having to go on hold until the end of term.
Anyway, I'd better go.

Got home from w*** at usual time, felt a bit tired so lay down (ahh big mistake, even I know that!) and guess what, yeah, fell asleep for three hours. So my Flylady Challenge is now a day behind.
Scuzz - sorry to hear about your poor dog - I really hope s/he is going to be OK.
Culpepper - oh dear, your OH is a tad unlucky isn't he!? Sorry but the series of events made me giggle too. He might end up with some v.manly scars though.
Gosh I am still tired, am going to have a little peruse on here for a while then go back to bed when the ability to sleep is around.

Hiya all
Couldn’t go to bed without checking up on today’s/yesterday’s thread!
Ooh Shez – was the spell a good luck one? I hope so J
Thanks for the car insurance tip SusanCarter – yes I did read Martin’s email first – aren’t I good! Unfortunately I tend to find that search engines such as confused give you a low price, then when you go to the actual companies sites they charge more L Didn’t have time to phone around today, will do tomorrow afternoon. Hiya poppycracker, tried Sheila’s Wheels last night after seeing the ad on the telly, but more expensive than my renewal quote!
Thanks for the cleaning tips Chipps. My sister bought some microcloths for the first time ever at the Ideal Home Exhibition as has been raving about them ever since. Any idea where else I can buy them from?
Nicki – well done on cutting up the card!
Hi elona – I was glad to read that the hospice for your dad sounds lovely.
Hi scuzz, sorry you are on a downer, ((((hugs)))) going your way. Hope your dog is ok.
Hi michelle – look after yourself, you really do work too hard chuck J Hope the cheese was yummy
Pooky – thinking of you x
Well, spent 4 hours driving today to drop off job application. The place looks gorgeous so please all keep your fingers crossed for me! Also visited two houses, not a patch on the one I lost L
