Morning all
Shez - :grouphug: Big hugs and take care.
Moggins -No slinking back off to bed - you've got to set us all an example!!!! Big hugs to you too - I know just how you're feeling today.
Washing machine is merrily doing it's stuff, I've washed up after abandoning the kitchen in favour of a bath and early night.....Did think that maybe DH would have had the sense to wash up last night, but oh well. Just waiting for my steam cleaner to heat up so I can attack the oven, one of my quiches got knocked as I put something else in the oven and I've got burnt on eggy bits now.
Got all the beds stripped so will give the mattresses a going over with the steam cleaner whilst it's out, will do down the back of the sofas too - found a little hoppy visitor from one of the cats last night......Reminder to self to get worm and flea drops tomorrow.
My potatoes in my dustbin have just started to flower - the first one tentivily half opened yesterday...can't wait to see how they've turned out....Carrots in a bucket are doing well too - they've really come on. My runner beans are happily climbing up my canes, they suffered a bit when I put them out - but they're getting there slowly and only 3 of my courgette plants have taken....Quite pleased as it's my first attempt at growing anything.
Going to whizz through everything this morning and spend a couple of hours doing something crafty....got some cards to make up for the next few weeks and want to make some wrapping paper for one of my little charges b/day next week.
Have an enjoyable day all."Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W. C. Field.0 -
Nickyand now the police helicopter has decided to hoover nearby.
Morning everyone!!!
Moggins - time to put on that music real loud and do a boogie? Hope you pick up through the day, you must be shattered with all you've done! Be kind to yourself, maybe a reward of a pamper is due today before you get stuck into your next 'round'?
Hi Chipps - can you send some of that sunshine our way. At the moment the sky is split in two - blue sky on one and black clouds the other, and I have sooo much washing to do!
Shez - Hugs to you while you support your OH.
Jan59 - No ideas on the suds thing I'm afraid - except to do when he's not looking
Broken wings - Excelllent result with Amazon - might give it a go myself once I'm in a bit more of a routine, you're success has inspired me!
Pooky - good on you for treating yourself to that bath last night, it's important to keep yourself 'charged'.
I'm feeling a little like my elec toothbrush after I've forgotten to put it on it's base. Takes forever to get the same things done, and when you've finished only half as good a job has been done!!! Had a giggle when I checked my emails and spotted my daily horoscope....
Your key planet Saturn has been all fired up recently, perhaps encouraging you to take on more work than intended. Now that your energy level is returning to normal, you may be daunted at the commitments you made. Don't waste energy worrying if you can deliver the goods. Just narrow your focus slightly and get on with the tasks at hand. Even if you don't perform up to your expectations, no one will fault you if you give it your best.:rotfl: Reckon they've got a camera spying on me at home????
For the first time in a while I've the house to myself with no errands to run, so a great time to get on with my FLC. Hoovering and dusting to do from yesterday, then I believe I'm in the kitchen today  I'm going to aim to get it 'straightened' then if there's time I'm going to hunt out all my unused tupperware and get all my seeds/breadmaking stuff into them ala Queenie. Any idea where Queenie is by the way? Not like her not to post by now....
Have I missed a post saying that she was going away?
Right, one more quick coffee and surf then ON WITH IT (insert a whipping smiley)

Morning everybody
... ((((HUGS)))) to Shez and OH ... Am happy this morning as my boss isn't in ... Also, guess what, I've got some freebie opera tickets for tonight :j :j ... I know at least 3 other people who are going, which would normally mean big spending in the pub, but it's a longish show and all the pubs in that part of London still shut at 11pm, so not much chance
... Housemate has got a new laptop, and says if I can spend some of Sunday p.m. helping him set it up, then he'll take me out for a meal ... Should also mean I'll have a monthly saving on internet from now on as we're currently subscribing to TWO services due to housemate's old PC getting indigestion when trying to use broadband ... Am feeling shamed by all of your flyladying when am still living in the tip of all tips ... will be having a proper blitz on Saturday which is usually "cooking day" but as I'm away most of next week I don't have the usual pressing need to batch-cook ... Need to find the "safe place" where I put my ebay logon ID and password  as I want to start selling ... Was late home from singing lesson last night as train was cancelled so came home by bus, partly on a route which took me through some of the nicer areas I might be able to afford to live ... Would love to move back to my old neighbourhood but there are places within a mile of there that are very leafy and nice but a bit more affordable ... Anyway, I know that my paragraph-formatting problem is making me look like I'm rambling (well, I probably am actually
) ... so I'll be off now ... Hugs to all who are feeling down ... Have a lovely day ... Love Rzl xxx

Morning all
Big huge hugs to Shez, take it easy and remember to look after yourself.
Feeling rather ummm hungover this morning please remind me not to drink red wine, popped over a friends for a girlie night in and had a very scary ride home in a taxi, which will be ringing up to complain about today, drove over the speed limit all the way home spent half his time in the middle of the road and took the long way, ended up getting him to drop me off at the end of my road, I get nervous in cars as it is and don't think I will ever use that taxi service again.
Just a general tidy up this morning and then need to pop into town for a few bits and a new printer:eek: my one packed up during the move.
hugs to all

Morning all..........((((((((hugs)))))))))))))) to those who need then especially Shez and Moggins...............
OH has gone off to plant leeks and celery at the allotment, he is playing bowls this afternoon, so apart from lunch time I have an OH free day.......
Yesterday I made the bol sauce and a pot of yoghurt. also put on a loaf of bread overnight, I am now out of bread flour until I shop next week. HM fish and chips tonight for supper.
I bought 4 punnets of stawberries for £1 yesterday from the market amd going to slush some of them up to put in the youhurt, its draining at the moment, OH likes the greek type and I will use the whey to make some wholemeal scones later today, will make a dozen and put them in the freezer, just take out a couple when we need them.
Last night chicken fric was delicious, I made lemon and parsley cous-cous, its so simple to do but quite filling...........used plain yoghurt in the fricasse instead of cream, nice flavour.
Its quite cool and very windy here this morning, pity I have no washing to hang out..... the bin is not full so no full loads of anything right now, its bed weekend so will strip the bed on Saturday and do the sheets.
Right I am off for a wash and to get dressed, have a good day...........

Morning all,
Shez - hugs to you - both dh and my mother have had bad depression in the past so I can feel for you. It is no-one's fault - it's just one of those things that happens. Take really good care of your self, otherwise you'll end up on your knees and you don't need that.
Off to do the kitchen in a mo - abandoned for the school concert last night. Also have to make ds2's birthday cake - am going for the tried and tested choccy hedgehog with matchmaker spines.
Beaver BBQ tonight - and it's still raining!!!!!!
FLC is going slowly - we have blitzed ds2's room and the playroom but nothing else so far - still I'd call that progress:D“the princess jumped from the tower & she learned that she could fly all along. she never needed those wings.”
