Evening all,
Sorry to hear some of you are having a rotten time
Im not very good at saying the right thing when people are down so just have a hug everyone who needs it(( ))
It's been such a blustery day here in Kent!
This morning I dug up the garlic in the veg patch . It smells lovely. At the moment it is hanging in netting on the washing line to dry out. I spent most of the morning digging over the newly vacated bed as I want to sow some carrot seeds in it later when its not so sunny out there. Our ground is quite stoney so I expect well get some interesting shaped carrots
We went for a walk into town in the afternoon as OH was getting bored just sitting around the house and I bought some more fruit as the fruit bowl empties at the speed of light in this house. He goes back to work tomorrow so I might be able to get some more cleaning done.
Still haven't made the second swim suit , though I did manage to cut it out yesterday .
We had HM pizza for tea (sliced smoked sausage) with some green viened cheese and some red liecester cheese melted on top.It was a lovely colour.Tasted okay too.
Have a lovely evening everyone

) "Hey short stuff - I'm fine" :rotfl: ... Right, now I'm off out for the evening, catch you later

Hi everyone
I was going to be all goodly and FLC-y today, but decided that I ought to do the dutiful daughter bit and traipse/drive round everywhere with mum so she could go to the bank and assorted shops etc.
I did however un/repack DW, wash all the pans and "shine my sink" before I leftHaving driven round half of Lancashire today, I got home after the school run and thought a nice simple meal of jacket spuds and assorted fillings would be fine. Hmmmmm
Neighbours 9yo knocked a pint of Ribena all over my recently vaxed carpet. Then, having despatched everyone into the living room to eat their teas whilst I cleaned the carpet, DS1 dropped his all over the carpet in there
It never ends, does it!!
Anyway, I've left all the dishes in situ and can now here Mr TM putting them in the DW :j After the boys are in bed I'll decide which cupboard or drawer to tackle and I'll fly-lady it. Then it's "House" on tv at 9pm so a session with the iron (I'd quite like a doctor like him TBH :rotfl: )
It's been miserable here for the past few days - it was a whole 11 deg C here earlierI have my heating on - yes, it's only the middle of June. I've also used my TD this week too. Mind you, I'm tired which won't help my feeling cold
Right, (((hugs))) especially to Shez and moggins.
MATH - good to see you back. Are you sure "the slough of despond" is near Gloucester? I thought it was further east?? :rotfl:
Anyway, just trying to chivvy 2 messy little boys to tidy their rooms somewhat. Best go and help. Have a good night and I may be back onthe Fly Lady thread tomorrow, when I feel I may do/have done more to justify it
Luv

Our viewings went ok. Think we might ask for a 2nd viewing on 2 of them. One of them is pretty damn close to the local swimming pool/leisure centre and I'm trying to think how I'd feel about that. Can't quite make up my mind . Then again, I am female! *puff, pant, puff, pant ... chasing up the read* Phew! Been 'flying by the seat of my pants today' but not cleaning :rotfl:
Thanks frizz
Yes, I've been out visiting, prep'ing, nerve calming and having a jolly good giggle along the way too. She's now safely in the hospital and fingers x'd for her op tomorrow. They say every cloud has a sliver lining and the fact they cancelled at the very last minute on Tuesday simply meant it gave her more time to remember to pack all the things she'd forgotten that time, plus, we did a mental checklist today of other 'useful' items and I shall be out shopping for some extra's for her over the weekend.
Just got back from footie practise with the lads and I think we're all in 'exhausted' mode now(D12yo's 'B' Team beat the 'A' Team :j :j )
D10yo came home waving a fiver in my face ... he'd found along the alleyway. Moral dilema for him on whether to keep it, or hand it in. Ooooh, the agony of doing the 'right' thing verses wanting to do the opposite  Ok, it's handed in (gosh I just love his integrity :T ) but only after he was convinced that if it goes unclaimed, he'll be entitled to it anyway :rotfl: Little does he know, that Queenie also has a special reward in store for this kid because I really admire him doing that!! Suffice to say, when the time limit is up ... he'll never forget that honesty was repaid in terms he'll never forget and will appreciate:shhh:
Both lads now scoffing a Magnum Mint as a reward to their good works today(some rewards really do need to be immediate  )
Just nibbling some fresh from the garden strawberries and they are absolutely delicious!!
Shez: Sending shedloads of posi vibes to you and yours ((hugs))
Ok, time to unwind. I'll catch up properly on everyone's news tomorrow.
Sleep easy.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Think it's going to be an early night for me too.
I've just spent an hour weeding and watering the garden, I've picked the first small bowl of raspberries (okay it was just 10) and the strawberries haven't done anything at all but they look very green and healthy? No flowers, no fruit nothing! I have an overabundance of lettuce and rocket, but I think I'll have to pick the rest of the spinach quickly. I'm going to have a look later and see what else I can put in it's place.
I'm going to have a quick tidy up and a swish and swipe before I go to bed, as I have to take the parents shopping tomorrow and won't be back until after lunchtime as it takes them so long. I'll probably be exhausted too. DH is at work at the weekend so if I can get DD to play nicely in her room I may get some more work done then.Organised people are just too lazy to look for things
