Glad sales seem to be picking up again for everyone - I'm back up to my normal rate again nowtoo. Long may it last!!!
Had 3 pendings at the back end of last week - non of which materialised into sales. Anyone else had a run of them?
I actually checked to see if they were from the same person trying to remove my listings - I think I'm getting paranoid!!AMAZON SELLERS CLUB member 0033 come and join us :j make some space and get hold of some cash, we're on the ebay and other auctions, car boot and jumble sales board0 -
What kind of books do you think sell best on Amazon? I have a few on aromatherapy and don't know if it would be worth listing them.:oTesco: £1361.19, Vanquis: £2644.73, Very: £563.08, Next: £1636.95, M&S: £1049.92. As of 5th February 2024. Slava Ukraini0

The good thing about Amazon is that you can look to see what others are listing them for and decide whether they are worth selling. If there are none listed then I usually just start a bit higher, but come down slowly until I get a bite.
As for what sells, ask the others as I am the worst judge.. although I've recently been selling a few more than normal and they have all been business and management books but totally up to date ones.

I have a book and there is only one other on Amazon. Theirs is £30 (In USA) and I have had mine for ages, so have it on at £11.00, now someone ( a new seller) has come in and put theirs on for £0.01. That is some undercutting. It doesn't make sense to me - I know the book is quite light, but it also seems quite rare, so they could have gone a bit higher!Grocery Challenge £139/240 until 31/01

Hi
I have the opportunity to purchase some book lots at a local auction. 1 lot is 350 brand new books mixed h/b p/b non-fiction and fiction and 500 used mixed books but not sure how much to bid for them, any advice much appreciated.
thanks

Why not buy it? consider it an investmentAMAZON SELLERS CLUB member 0077 come and join us :hello: make some space and get hold of some cash, we're on the ebay and other auctions, car boot and jumble sales board.0 -
I also think that some sellers may list at a lower price just to be able to buy yours whe you reduce it! I'm sure some 'would be' buyers do this on the sly!0

Do they have a preview day where you could jot down a few ISBN's and check them out on Amazon first?
When I have bought mixed lots (which included a fair share of Reader's Digest and magazines!) I paid £50 per 1000, I got my money back very quickly. Other Posters on here have paid more and have still been happy with their purchase.
Non fiction can be good but beware of out of date editions. With hardbacks be mindful of the higher postage required.AMAZON SELLERS CLUB member 0077 come and join us :hello: make some space and get hold of some cash, we're on the ebay and other auctions, car boot and jumble sales board.0 -

I sold a book for £30 on Friday that I had had listed since 18th May 2005, so don't write it off just yet. If really is that rare (no other editions etc) it will just be a matter of time before a buyer comes along.
Hang on in there.AMAZON SELLERS CLUB member 0077 come and join us :hello: make some space and get hold of some cash, we're on the ebay and other auctions, car boot and jumble sales board.0
