  • That's 9 out of 750 though!

I bought a medical book today, it was a students revision one with photos and questions like 'what's this patient suffering from? what's the treatment? what will be the outcome? - well, I have never had so many identifyable ailments  I think that I have about 80% of the problems in the book - I don't have prostate troubles or gunshot wounds, but that's about it.

Out of interest it was signed by the editor and there was a photocopy of his qualifications and a newpaper clippping about his pioneering work being used as bookmarks, I doubt if it will add to the value but it was interesting....

Wish I hadnt said anything now and just gone to the post office....

I got a rollicking off a mod the other week for having too long a sig apparently its not meant to be longer than 4 lines, anyway i modified it and then I had seen a post with a sig of about 20 lines,I bought it to this mods attention and then they sent a message back saying mine was still 6 lines, honestly no helping some people, thats why I dont have the full amazon quote on my sig anymore.

Another sale this avo just to try to keep on topic.

May I wish loads of sales to everybody this week.

Just got 3 sales at last one for £25.
But I went to the car boot today and spent £12.60 on about 150 books.
    My wife wasn't pleased.
Then tonight I bought 1200 books on ebay. I think there maybe a horses head on my pillow tonight!!!

Angela , No help what so ever Im sure, But Ive had a bad night on Ebay,.....

I read your sig as 'since feb 1/2 lb lost' and thought to myself why bother shouting about losing half a pound.

My god i'm stupid at times,

well done to you though, if i had that to shout about i would bother with a sig ;)

PS . as said, had a bad night and im beyond tired, please take this with the humour it was intented !!

I'm trying to empty all our unpacked boxes (from recent move) and have talked OH into taking me to IKEA for some IVAR's Wednesday in order to make some room for them! We only paid £50 for the lot and we're splitting the cost and the books, so at worst I've only lost £25 which isn't too bad.
