Hey Katchambers,
I'd love a copy of that list if you could get it to me. Thanks loads !
Is there a separate one for DVD's & PC games? If so, I'd love those.
Also, how did it go with the truck loads of books you brought from eBay? Are they still selling well?
All the best.:: No Links in signatures please - FM ::0 -

You will need a name for your shop that's different to your normal ebay ID name (or at least a variation of your ID) so you get chance to spend all sunday morning thinking of a new one :rotfl:0 -
Left DH in charge for 5 minutes & when I came back it'd done a name & got my FAQ's working. Still can't get some other pages to work but at least it's a start, I've gone through all my unsold items & slowly relisting them now so hoping some of these sell soon.

THANKS SO much for your great replies :T
It answered a lot of my questions, and others too it seems.
Especaillay thanks for the best offer tip as I have tried just buy it nows on my normal listings and it has not worked.
So looks like I will get an ebay shop too.
Why doe the shop name need to be different from your ebay name / and last question I thought it said that ebay gives you a link to your own url. Is this for your own web page in which case eek, need a seperate thread for that !0 -
You get a web address http://stores.ebay.co.uk/your-shop-name
I've then set up a webforwarding thing from a shorter https://www.your-shop-name.com address, as the one ebay gives you is still a bit hard to remember. But you don't have to do that.Murphy's No More Pies Club #209

Congratulations on your sale to America. Small packet rate will be cheaper than printed papers if it weighs more than 140g. Don't forget to put a Customs Declaration form CN22 on the back. I'm sure your PO will be able to help you.
If you're going to continue with international sales you may want to ask your PO if you could have a few CN22's to fill in beforehand - it will save you time in the PO for future packets.

Actually, this was something I was meaning to ask the knowledgeable people here. I was at the Post Office to send a book to the US and told the guy at the counter that the small packet and printed papers prices were the same, so I didn't need to write printed papers on the packet. He replied that if I didn't, the recipient of my package might have to pay extra on the other end. Can anyone confirm/deny whether this is true? Sounded odd to me.
Of course by writing printed papers I didn't have to fill in the declaration which was an advantage, but as you say, at some weights Small packet is actually cheaper.'Everyone loves to read but it can be a real nuisance when you lose your place. I don't know what the rights/wrongs of this are, but I always write either 'printed papers' or 'small packet' on the top of my international sales. It avoids any doubt as to which service I have paid for, I also always use a CN22 for USA. Belts and braces I guess - no problems so far.AMAZON SELLERS CLUB member 0077 come and join us :hello: make some space and get hold of some cash, we're on the ebay and other auctions, car boot and jumble sales board.0
