Sold a cd on 31/05/06 and posted it the next day [COP obtained] ... just had an email from buyer asking when she is likely to receive delivery?... [had to happen sooner or later]

Would it be possible for someone to post a link to the relevant help section on Amazon as I've been searching for a while and keep getting lost by all the 'click links' to info which doesn't really describe the correct proceedure in such an instance.

I'm assuming that a refund to the buyer and a claim for compensation at the PO is the way to go - would just like to be sure I'm following correct proceedure

Any one had to do a claim from PO? ... what happens and what info do they require?

    Regards to all

Have you tried again? It didn't work for me originally and then all of a sudden it did.

Hi snax - as you say it's going to happen sometime.

I don't think that there is a page with instructions on how to get this sorted out.

The thing to do is refund first then claim from the PO. You need to go to the 'getting paid' section of your sellers account page, then to transactions and find this CD, there's a refund button on the page with space to write a few words.

Then get a claim form from your local PO, fill in the details of how much it cost and the postage etc and then return it to the PO....and wait. I don't think that they will refund your actual postage costs which is a tad annoying.

When I first went pro I tried a few times and did things like logging out and then in and gave up after a few attempts.

I just emailed the customer services this afternoon, they came back quite quicky considering that it's a weekend - they didn't know why it didn't work either and asked me to try again and then report what the error message said - i've done that and I'll see what happens
