well out of the items i have sold, only one used best offer, and yet i would have accepted less on all of them :rotfl:
so AT - get the best offer on
plus ebay shops are free for the first month - im desperately wanting to clear as much large heavy stuff before the post office pricing in proportion comes in - i got their card thingy and its going to be very tight
btw sold a higher priced item on amazon tonight - thank you - my karma must be slowly righting itself
I have! (I was just advising that cat should consider using best offer)
I just had a little look 'backstage' in my shop and studied the newsletter info, it tells you how many you sent out, how many were opened and how many clicks and sales resulted from them.
Juno, your customers are all jokers!0 -
No, most of my customers are good.
I bought a box set of some books for £1, put it on buy it now for £30, expecting people to then offer something low but acceptable (it wasn't the whole set for some reason, but the rrp was £60) and someone bought it for the £30!Murphy's No More Pies Club #209

I have about 10-15 various items that haven't sold on e-bay that are just sitting in my garage. What's your advice?? shall I set up a shop for the free trial and see what goes. My fees for this month were nearly £20 so I can't  afford to keep putting them on and hoping they sell. I might just have one last ditch attempt with the free month and then into the skip they will go - what do you think???
I have a load of craft items on BIN which end this morning that have been relisted a few times, I really can't afford to just give them all away but like you say the fees are huge (even if listing on a cheap day) if I keep relisting them (usually only sell about 5-10 a week - currently have 40 listed & have sold 6 this week with best offers on 3 more which I'm probably going to accept). I have put them on BIN at less than half the RRP & have best offers on them all too - any other suggestions what to do?
How do I go about getting this free shop?2023 wins - Rice Krispies, Avene Micellar Gel, Barbie Toy, £20 Apple Gift Card, KFC 6 piece bargain bucket, Chloe Nomade perfume, Barbie Toy (second one), Sanctuary Spa Sleep Balm, E45 Moisturising Lotion, Trolls Hamper, 12 Tonie Characters, Sure deodorant, Good Home Utensil holder, £5 Costa Gift Card, Neutrogena Micellar Jelly, Soap & Glory Mascara, Persil capsules,0 -
there is normally a link to shops on the front page that has an open a shop link in it
http://pages.ebay.co.uk/help/sell/storefees.html
explains the fee system - 3p for a basic listing for 30 days (5p to use gallery feature), the big downside is you pay a slightly higher final fee 6.75% instead of 5.75%
i figured if i keep it open for a few months - clear as much as possible before PIP comes in and then start shutting down the less profitable stuffSee the stars they’re shining brightEverything’s alright tonight0 -

Its 3p every 30 days plus feature costs - you can do this manually or set it to renew itself until otherwise told
it offers 90 days is 6p but this is on top of the 3p listing fee so works out the sameSee the stars they’re shining brightEverything’s alright tonight0 -
oops i reread your question - a shop costs £6 per month to keep openSee the stars they’re shining brightEverything’s alright tonight0
