selling your stuff on Amazon - part 5

I've had an email from Amazon advising that I have a payment pending [since 3.30pm] and wondered what the procedure is ... is it in order to try and contact the buyer or will I just let Amazon sort it out.
I only listed the item at mid-day today, so if I am to keep it 'on reserve' for 72 hrs as Amazon request, I may miss the opportunity of a quick sale if I wait to relist it
Any advice?
regards

I have had 5 or 6 pending, I have just let them go for 72 hours. Only 2 didn't sell. One of those I relisted for a couple of pounds more, and was bought exactly a week later by the same person.

Daft question coming up......................:o
A book is listed as either paperback, hardback or unbound. What exactly does it mean by unbound?Nevermind the dog, beware of the kids!0 -
It means that by the ISBN number it has no reference to whether it is P/B or H/B0

thanks for the above replies - Annie .. your thanks button isn't working

ps. is it just me or is the format for these forums all over the place? - 1 min ok, the next all to b***ery.
Wish they would sort it - I find them mostly unreadable now and can't be bothered posting when it's like this which is most of the time - it's also exceedingly slow at times - just moaning!!

snax - it's probably just 'tips day' bottlenecks in the system, it often gets slow.0

Ok guys some help needed here. I have a book listed which was on Kat's wanted list for £30. A search on the book finder shows only mine and another from USA listed at £75 I have been reducing mine daily from £30 (now currently £22.00) and still no takers even though it says buyer waiting. The average priced stated on amazon is £8.00. What do I do?? Do I hike it up to about £60 and sit tight or do I keep reducing it??
Thoughts please.:rolleyes:0 -

My suggestion would be to check the values on an up to date pre order report to see what the highest actual value is.AMAZON SELLERS CLUB member 0077 come and join us :hello: make some space and get hold of some cash, we're on the ebay and other auctions, car boot and jumble sales board.0
