Hi, has anybody received their 'winter warmer' free £30 yet?
The O2 rep mentioned responding to an email in order to claim the free cash - does that sound right?
My O2 bill for 'All Rounder' has dropped from £12.50 to £6.81 but no sign of the free £30.
Thanks in advance, Scrounger0 -

Not sure if it's exactly the same.
I changed to 'Allrounder' exactly 4 weeks back and mentioned the £30 at the same time.
Received my cheque for £30 earlier this week. :TMove along, nothing to see.0 -

they told me also I would get a claim emailDon't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0 -

Sign up to The All Rounder or The Works and get 12 months half price home broadband if you've been a mobile customer with us for 2 years of more. Or 6 months half price if you have been with us for less than two years.
Plus we'll give you a £25 voucher which you can spend at top high street stores including Sainsbury's, B&Q, Asda, M&S and Argos.
The good news is existing customers can get all of this too if you are eligible to renew your contract with us.
Choose the package which is right for you and call 0800 380 0402 and quote '£25 voucher'. This exclusive offer is only available by phone and ends 1st March 2012.
This offer is only available over the phone. Call us now on 0800 380 0402 and quote '£25 back'
I will probably opt for the 12 months (on contract expiring) 1/2 price Home Broadband only and the £25 voucher (they have two quotes "£25 voucher" and "£25 back)
I might stick with The Works as a higher Traffic Allowance considering 1/2 price available.

I always call them at the end of the contract for a better offer. Today my contract was due for renewal. Called them and quoted sky broadband who were offering 6 months free and O2 matched the 6 months free offer. I am on a legacy package which now costs me £4.75 per month over the year!:j0

I can't get them to add a phone to my legacy package, so it's bye bye O2 for me, I phoned them 3 times and they refused, giving a hard sale pitch, saying sky were lying and they throttle the service, so yesterday I gave notice to close my account to them and moving to sky next week.0

My contract has just ended and I was wondering if anyone is aware of any good deals with o2 that would be worth me following up on?
I know they were offering Xbox Gold and 2100 points at some point for £1 when you renewed but can't find anything to say its still running?
Are o2 worth staying with anymore ?0 -
We are on one of the legacy packages with no traffic shaping, but our contract has just expired and they put the monthly cost up to £18 so the other half thought she would phone to see what they said if she asked for a MAC code. She was asked about what deal we'd been offered and mentioned one of the common BT deals available today. Unfortunately the O2 lady just gave her the MAC code and my OH didn't try to haggle.
Has anyone recently managed to get a retention deal on a legacy package? Should we just phone back and try to haggle?0 -
Our contacted ended about 3 months back. They haven't contacted me and I tried speaking to them once but they said no matter what I did, I wouldn't be able to stay on the legacy package so I've just left it rolling at the mo as still getting the discount.
Wouldn't hurt to call them back and see what you can get out of them.0 -

doesn't bode well then...... my legacy contract ended 31/3/12, have been meaning to ring up for a while now hoping to stay on it for another 12 months with hopefully 6 months free0
