Ease and reliability and connection: Good. I got one of those phones that had been done up and i thought that there would be loads of problems, but it has worked fine. I previously had a contract with bt (utter rubbish, paid over the odds for what i had) and then i got a deal for £17.50 with 750mins and 150 texts. the guy in the shop was so nice - even tho he was a bit of a div! - and he gave us £30 cos i reccomended someone else!!

Well, I won't be going with 3, only because Voda came back with an offer too good to refuse.
Rang yesterday and asked what I need to do to cancel. Told to write to an address. Then I asked about porting my number accross and was told they would send out a code in 3 to 5 days (thought they should give it too you straight away??).
Got a "courtesy" call today asking why I was leaving. So I complained about all the things lost from my package. He offered me 125 mins, 250 texts for £10 for 15 months and then £20 for the next 3 and thereafter - £210 for the 18 months. Plus a free phone. I wanted the S-E K800i. On 3's £15 offer I would have had to have paid £340 (£70 for the handset). So a saving of £130. Result! :T
When I told the operator I wanted to go to 3, he really dissed their offshore call centre and lack of range in handsets. He also said T-mobile operated at the lower end of the market. Like I care! I just want to make cheap calls!!!0 -
I hope you took the "advice" from the Vodafone sales droid with the pinch of salt it deserved...Time is an illusion - lunch time doubly so.0

I think you are NEVER allowed to denigrate the competition- shows that vodaphone have badly trained/lying operators.0 -

Just joined 3 after being with Vodafone. Couldn't get them to do a decent deal so went to 3 for their DT675 tarriff with a free Sony Ericsson Z610i Black. have to say the coverage is great - better than O2 where I live. Call centre was good when I spoke to them, was reluctant to try them after all the problems I have heard but have been pleasantly surprised. Used to work for orange at the time then 3 set up so was a bit against them but so far it feels like being back at Orange when they were in their prime. Innovative paper work, website etc. Would recommend them, really pleased with the phone best phone I have had!:T Quidco - £210.12:j0

I also went to them on the same tariff but from O2. I can also say that I'm impressed so far. My number ported across yesterday without any problems. When I rang them to arrange this last week, the operator was polite and efficient. 10/100

I am looking at the DirectTalker1000 - can someone confirm that the contract length is 18 months and it is half price for the entire term? If so, I am going to try them out...2 + 2 = 4
except for the general public when it can mean whatever they want it to.0
