I was all set to join Three as i believed they had the cheapest contracts but their prices seem to have rocketed especially for newer phones the cheapest i could get the new Sony 850i on a 12 month contract would have cost me £460 for the year ! Ended up going to 02 got it for £250.0

My £5.00 a month offer was from Phones 4 u and they were using Very hard sell techniques. They werent very pleased that I didnt sign up straight away and they even offered to pay for my car park fee as it was about to expire so I would stay in the shop and sign.
Not sure what 3 tariff it was though so sorry0 -
Right I have today got my new mobile.
Its a Sony W850i phone and I have signed an 18 month contract at £35.00 a month with Orange. This seems expensive I know but for this I get 18 months of Orange wireless broadband for free (17.99 a month normally) Im on the dolphin plan and get unlimited texts and 500 any network anytime minutes a month. So im happy that for approx £17.00 a month I have pretty much unlimited use of my phone.
Thanks to all of you for your help0 -
I'm coming to the end of a 3 contract, so phoned a couple of weeks ago to cancel, they advised to change it to a PAYG sim, which I accepted.
Got a phone call tonight offering me 100 mins & 100 texts for 46p per month, no cash back etc, just 'as is'! Can't go wrong for that!
I'm interested to find out what other deals they can offer me with a handset, especially the N73. Has anyone been offered a gantastic deal with the handset?Sexkitten
Good things come to those who wait......... but the best will be taken by those who got there first

The deal I was offered on the N73 was on the £25 tariff, £80 credit to my account plus the N73 for free0

Hearing from friends who are or have been on 3, they've all said, terrible network coverage & diabolical customer service from their indian call centres.
I wouldn't touch them with a bargepole.........0 -
Customer service is truely diabolical - only went with them orig for the 11 mmonths fre line rental. Ended the contract now my 1 year is up0

Well I've had exactly the opposite. They answer the phone quickly, give replies which are no less accurate than other networks I've been on (ie they're all pretty average), and even gave me a courtesy call when I joined - not trying to sell me anything extra. The coverage matches that of the other networks (it may be that your friends' info is out of date, skybluesaver, because the network coverage is increasing all the time). And you can find out for free, from the phone, how many inclusive minutes etc you have left. That is a big plus.Time is an illusion - lunch time doubly so.0

Is there anyone on the 3 network and what is the coverage and signal like? I've been called by there salesperson several times and asked about what network im on and whats my deal which is O2 250 Xnet mins no texts.£15 month. they offered me 800 xnet mins = 500 texts and free handset of my choice £17.50 per month. the deal sounds good as im looking for a second phone for my wife as she is on 02 p&go. thanks for any feedback..0
