One problem I've found with Three - their net access is not fully open, so you can't automatically upload pictures to Shozu.

Have you tried it using the Mini Opera browser?

Yes - same result :o. Shozu emailed me to help after I'd failed to join, and confirmed that it wasn't possible, although they are talking to Three about it. I emailed Three and got a quick but useless response by phone.

Any way of uploading images (etc) would be good. With Opera Mini I can get the full Yahoo Mail (Three's version ignores attachments completely) but the browser itself doesn't support file uploads.

  • hi

I have been looking at the three deal for my daughter- 18 month contract £15 month for 12 month then £30 for the next 6 months.

My daughter wants the lg u890 phone, does anyone have this handset, and is it any good, there seems to be mixed reviews on lg phones, although reviews for this particular handset seem ok

I also feel unsure about going with 3, especially for 18 month, but it seems such a good deal
    Nice to save.
  • On Monday I was in a well known phone retailer and was offered a new Sony K610i on a contract at £5.00 a month for 12 mths (redemption as normal) with 800 mins and 500 txts. It sounds great but is 3 worth the hassle?

    Hitman,

If all you want to do is phonecalls and texts, 3's fine, and with most of the best cashback deals being on 3, that's fine in my book. I've been with them for 4-5 yrs.

I should point out all I want from a phone is to be able to talk and text, none of the fancy extras and am so anti-trendy I only care if the phone will do what I want it to without too much hassle. Therefore 3's great for me & Mrs GunJack.

BTW, which retailer, and which tariff ?? I'm assuming it's a 3 one....

just had a great result from 3...
dropped my phone in the bath obviously it malfunctioned and wouldnt turn on (nokia 6233) i called up 3 and complained about a fault etc said my mate had the same fault (lie). they sent a jiffy bag to me which i sent my phone off for repair in.. i was expecting the usual "sorry you are not covered for water damage etc etc" but to my suprise i received a brand new phone (6233) and all its accesories 3 days later ie new memory card/charger/handsfree kit. considering i sent the phone off just with its battery and received all the other stuff ontop of the new phone which broke due to my own negligence. i was quite amazed by 3.

i dont have phone insurance either so i think i came out of the situation quite well off.

credit to 3 for once. as i didnt really rate them much as a network provider but they have just gone up in my estimation.
  • Gunjack, talk and text is really all I need although I do access BT Mobile world internet (just for the footy results) with my current BT deal. I have a few features I want from my phone but they are all present on the Sony I was offered. My last redemption payment from my current BT 150 plan is due in the next week and as soon as it arrives I will be after the best contract deal going and the 3 deal might be it especially for £5.00 a month. Does anyone know what "hidden" charges I should be wary of or of an even better deal going?

    hitman,

check out Simply3G's current deals - a lot of 12months free on a 12month contract stuff on there. I've had from them before and got my cb ok. One of my current ctts is up beginning of November, so will be going back to them for the replacement I think.

As I've mentioned somewhere else on here, avoid Just3G like the plague....

  • I have been on the 3 network for 2 years in February, and so far have no complaints. I live in Hertfordshire and always have good coverage, currently on an 18 month contract for paying 15 a month with 500 free minutes and 100 texts a month. The first year I paid 2.99 a month for the same deal. I was dubious at first but have been really happy with them. I have heard horror stories about them so dont know if I am one of the lucky ones?
