3 is the cheapest, but is it best

The BBC iPlayer app is brilliant too.
Now I've got over the excitement of it all, the case it comes with is rubbish and the large headphone jack is a pain in the !!!! as I now have to buy a converter.
The 2.5mm jack is annoying, I solved the issue by getting a bluetooth stereo headset, no adapter and no cable to get tangled up!
Take a look at this for an alternative case.0 -

Where'd you get the bluetooth headset from Bob? I was went to a football tournament today and watched the tennis on iPlayer live in between games.

Many bluetooth headsets are horrendously overpriced, I got this one because it's cheap, has a 3.5mm jack for better head phones and works with aaa batteries. It's OK but a little bulky (the aaa batteries probably aren't such a good idea after all). If I had to repurchase I'd probably spend a little more (i.e on a model with built in pause/play buttons, smaller battery etc perhaps this or this).Where'd you get the bluetooth headset from Bob?0 -
Nokia E71 x2
North England, Central Scotland (& Australia)
Never had a problem getting connected either for calls (mobile & skype) or internet.
2nd phone is used in Australia, network is only really available in major urban areas but you can use your call/text/internet allowance at no extra cost. outside of that Skype is great thru the WiFi connection.

Do you know that from 30th June 3 are withdrawing the "3 like home" service that allows you to use a UK 3 phone in Australia for no extra cost? Lots of people have cancelled their contracts because of the change. Take a look at this thread.kippen_noedel wrote: »Nokia E71 x2

Yes, I contacted them a few days ago about it, explained it was the sole reason for taking the contract with them in the first place and that my son is using the facility.Do you know that from 30th June 3 are withdrawing the "3 like home" service that allows you to use a UK 3 phone in Australia for no extra cost? I had to speak to a line manager, the agent didn't have any authority, they extended the cover until the end of the year for free and gave me £20 credit for my main phone.0 -
Did you record the phone call? I'd call back and double check that they have enacted an extension to the 3 like home service for you (whilst recording the call). I haven't heard of anyone else getting an extension to the service past June 30th and I wouldn't put it past 3 customer services to deliberately mislead you.kippen_noedel wrote: »I had to speak to a line manager, the agent didn't have any authority, they extended the cover until the end of the year for free and gave me £20 credit for my main phone.0 -

I logged onto the three website last night and looked at what upgrades i'm entitles to as i'm about to come to the end of my 18 month contract.
Apparently i am entitles to an INQ1 or Nokia 6120, mix n match 1100 for £13.25 a month, but when I try to order it online the website wont let me alter the name they put in the box as i need to add my middle initial for it to match name on card  when i ring the call centre they either say they cant offer what the website can, or that the website is incorrect. After a lot of wrangling with them over me wanting them to honour what it said on the website they wouldnt budge. Have just accepted 700 mix n match and a nokia 6120 for £15.75 but i'm wondering if i should send it back unused and try for something cheaper. I'm not bothered about the latest snazzy handset, just a cheaper deal than what i'm on now (£20 a month, 1100 mix n match)
