Just done the preapplication check and it came back 60-70% chance of being approved for the gold card.Have had a vanquis for over 2 years and cap 1 classic for 1 year.Managed both accounts well, never missed a payment and paid both off in full most months.Would really like to move to a mainstream card but dont really want to get knocked back.My credit score with Equifax is rated as good and i have 1 search on my report in the last 6 months.Does anyone think i stand a chance?

Hi mate - yea I rung and said browser crashed so dunno what happened. he said 'can I have the application number' and I repeated myself - I TOLD YOU THE BROWSER CRASHED to which he said you been declined. I said is that right, he replied yes.
I then said 'would you like my name before completing that statement' to which he hung up! I then rung back and got declined and at the moment the muppet said I am sorry to say - I hung up on him this time.....
