I did read it - its also in my screen dump but what we're saying is it weird for Barclays to check CC then search Equifax. They should be using the same CRA.

Oh dear God no, he's family, no other reason I'd put up with him for so long. I didn't even need his non-existent admin skills, just threw him a bone.

Thankfully my OH has a good head on him.

Just done the preapplication check and it came back 60-70% chance of being approved for the gold card.Have had a vanquis for over 2 years and cap 1 classic for 1 year.Managed both accounts well, never missed a payment and paid both off in full most months.Would really like to move to a mainstream card but dont really want to get knocked back.My credit score with Equifax is rated as good and i have 1 search on my report in the last 6 months.Does anyone think i stand a chance?

  • Did you get instant decline? Is your Equifax bad/CallCredit clear?

Instant decision, bad file; 1 CCJ in 2005 but nothing else. Had Cap 1 and Citi Platinum for 18 months.
