What limits do you have on your other cards?Bank Accounts - Barlcays Premier[/B] - £1000 o/d, HSBC - £200 o/d- First Direct - £500
Credit Cards - Barclaycard £2000 - Silver Card £1300 - Flybe £7500 - HSBC £1000 - First Direct £2500 First Direct Gold £3000
6 credit accounts closed in 2010!

It's beats my previous highest limit by over a grand lol I think I will reduce the limits on some of my other cards and keep that one as could be useful. I never expected that I would not have been surprised if my llimit had been 1000Innocent_Guy wrote: »Well done!

Hi, I'm sorry to be dense but I have read the thread and have a question about the pre authorisation check from barclaycard - does it show on your credit search with Equifax at all to other lenders who check your credit file?0

WAHEY,success.Have been accepted for a Goldcard.Will be with me in upto 5 working days.Goodbye subprime cards,its been nice while it lasted.
Just got a confirmation email from Barclaycard today,£1000 starting limit so i am gonna close the Capital One and keep the Vanquis open until i have built the credit limit up a bit on the Barclaycard.0 -

Someone mentioned it left a 'footprint' on Equifax, I am curious just to see what the pre-approval would come up with but don't need a card at the moment and don't want to make it harder to get one in 9 or so months when I will need one.0
