I'm not confused - and unlike you I certainly don't lie. I have dealt with each one of those things - though my primary concern is cashback and t&c. You have finally and clearly stated for once that the ones which suit you matter and the ones which don't aren't important and can be ignored.0

Another update (as this has still not been resolved)
Ben looked into it, and came back with the post on the last page, pointing out that there isnt much difference between their price and the dialaphone offer - however if i wish to return the phone that wont be a problem.
After phoning Orange to check i do have unlimited internet etc.. apparently i only have 500mb, so its by no means unlimited (but Ben has said thats "unlimited" in Orange terms) - how true that is, i dont know.
so i went back to Ben and requested we just go ahead with the return, which is something he has said i can do SINCE my original post describing the problem was made...
he provide me with a link to a cancellation request form on the mobiles.co.uk - no problem... filled that out and sent it off. Not long after i received the following response:
" We are able to process a return for cancellation providing your sim card remains unused and still in original packaging.
If this is the case then we are able to proceed with your return.
Can you just confirm this? "
i've mentioned enough times, the sim has been placed in the phone - i had no idea i was suppost to wait before i could use it  (thats mobiles.co.uk problem, for not reading the order comments before dispatching the order)
so, i've now asked Ben if he can look into the issue - fair enough if using the sim usually means agreeing to the contract - but in this case, i was expecting to have a price match, and if that had been completed i would have no need to cancel...
if they read the order when it was received, and seen the "price match promise" comments, and then thought... "ah, we cant do that, lets inform the customer and see if he wants to pay full price" then fair enough... but its completely wrong to send it out, let me use it and then say "sorry...we've got you for 18 months now!"
thats just a scam :rolleyes:0 -
I was going to buy a contract from mobiles.co.uk, but I don't think I will bother, I have been on hold now for an hour on the phone and yet to talk to anyone about my order.

Lockeh, is there a problem with your order?
We don't operate a call centre so the phone lines can be busy but we do have a fast email response service for all enquiries.

thats just a scam
Chris,
See PM - however I would point out that you weren't happy with the unavailability of price match, but it's subsequently turned out that we've in fact supplied you a cheaper deal with the same benefits anyway? This comment seems unfair.

basically I ordered another I phone from you for myself and partner uses mine, order went through find but your quality control team issued me an email stating they need to speak to me,
so I got a call from you guys saying are you happy to pay £80 a month for the contract you already have and the one you about to set up, I said yes but you needed to see a bank statement from me,
so I took a screen grab from my online banking and sent it to you via email and heard nothing back.0 -
This comment seems unfair.
I disagree.
Can you argue my reasoning for saying that?in this case, i was expecting to have a price match, and if that had been completed i would have no need to cancel...

You say "our deals better" - well, thats debatable isnt it?
For example
Mobiles.co.uk cashback means i would have to wait on average 3 months? to claim my money back - im sorry, but i cant afford to pay £45 a month - i can however afford £35, which is what i would be paying with dialaphone. There is a very clear difference, and i know which one i would prefer.
As a one-off for this contract only, are you able to pay the cashback to me each month, on or before the billing date?
As mentioned in my last post i feel this is very unfair / a scam - this is NOT what i wanted and i quote my previous comment: "but its completely wrong to send it out, let me use it and then say "sorry...we've got you for 18 months now!""
Anyway... i am back on here to keep this public as THIS HAS STILL NOT BEEN RESOLVED
The latest happenings are as follows:
Last week Ben requested me to resubmit a cancellation request via the cancellation from on the mobiles.co.uk website
- I tried to do this, but unfortunately the form didnt work - I informed ben of the problem and requested that since i had sent cancellation requests previously that he could look into the previous "tickets"
- Ben advised that because he and Sales are different departments he was unable to communicate with them (or words to that effect) and requested i sent an email to returns@mobiles.co.uk, copying him into the email
The email was sent last Friday, sent to both the returns department and Ben.
I finally had a response yesterday:
" Hello,
Thank you for your e-mail.
Before we can set up a return for cancellation please confirm that you have not used the handset or sim card and we can forward on the returns information."
 it's absolutely ridiculous  it is genuinely impossible to get sense out of anyone. even after copying Ben in emails, as soon as it leaves the public (by going off the forum) the service remains exactly the same - non existant
I've not bothered replying to this email as i'm just wasting my time.
Does anyone have any additional advice? as mentioned previously it's been passed to Citizens Advice, Orange have advised me of a "correspondance address" where they will chase mobiles.co.uk on my behalf due to me being unable to get any sense out of them
thanks0 -

On top of the wait for the cashback, you only have to read around this forum to see more problems with your cashback system - this is another reason why i would like to cancel as opposed to stick with what you are offering me.0 -
Oh dear. I saw a nice deal on their website but I think it has put me off. I experienced carphonewarehouse once and I wouldn't use them again. These sound just as bad. Think I might stick with phones4u.0

These are carphonewarehouse, just using another name (as do e2save/onestopphoneshop/phonespot).0
