Oh dear. I saw a nice deal on their website but I think it has put me off. I experienced carphonewarehouse once and I wouldn't use them again. These sound just as bad. Think I might stick with phones4u.

That is very wise. Although you will get your money out of them if you cover yourself fully (and usually there is no need to have to resort to the courts) they definitely can't be trusted. Phones4U on the other hand definitely can be as far as internet cashback sites are concerned currently. Read the thread on their other site, Mobiles2yourDoor - you won't find the kind of feedback or problems which occur with dealer. They are VERY good in just about every respect and MUCH safer (naturally that doesn't negate the need to follow the groundrules because things could change - as they did two years ago with cpw). Up until recently they also had (by far) the best deals, though the best deals are hard to come by anywhere now. Still, I'm used to getting everything free so in that sense they are still very good!

    MJ,

You have exactly zero evidence to back this up so again I'd ask you to stop claiming it.

We have never not paid a valid cashback claim, you are unable to demonstrate one single instance of this happening and in fact you are even a customer of ours - so please, keep your opinions to yourself and stop dressing them up as fact?

Don't you ever get tired of "suggesting" what I should and should not say and ignoring the fact that I have LOTS of evidence and facts? Dream on!

I therefore repeat my warnings to those who have unblocked ears and who aren't PAID to tell critics (who ALSO happen to be customers!) of this company to shut up:-

This dealer is dishonest and cannot be trusted. Only use them if you cover yourself FULLY and are prepared to sue if needbe. Go to Phones4u - they are totally the opposite (but don't assume they will stay that way forever - cpw companies - and THIS IS ONE OF THEM - turned full circle more than two years ago to become the totally disreputable and dishonest sham they remain today.

Regarding the trustworthiness in respect of cashbacks, someone here has reported having to resort to legal action over not getting his automatic cashback:

    http://www.reviewcentre.com/review504203.html

And here the Rep seemed hardly trustworthy by forcefully denying he was a senior manager of the company, when in fact he had stated that in his profile, then cynically edited it when it was pointed out.

And there is hard evidence they don't keep to promises ("guarantees" even) mentioned on their website.

eg Next day delivery if you order by 5.00pm, late payment of cashbacks, fast reply to queries, etc etc.

    MJ,

You say you have evidence and facts, but you have produced none and ignored my attempts to help you.

Based on this, and your constant promotion of other companies desite actually being a customer of ours yourself I really find it hard to take you seriously.

Please, let me help my customers without you sticking your uninformed nose in? There's plenty of people asking for help on this forum, surely your time is better spent helping them
and allowing me to help those people I can?

    Quentin,

The guy's cheque got lost in the post - it happens - and a replacement was sent out. End of story.

You are twisting multiple events into one big lie here, about the job title, about the T&Cs, etc, and I really don't understand your reasons. Please, take your ignorance and bitterness and stay away from me? There's no mileage in me trying to have a constructive conversation with someone so eager to damage our business through lies, misrepresentations and untruths so I'm being blunt - you don't understand what you're talking about and are being outright malicious in your spinning of what's happened here.

Either we stay here and help customers (and improve our site, service) or we leave due to the hostility and ignorance on display from certain users. If we leave, you have helped nobody.

You are twisting multiple events into one big lie here...

I have every right to answer these posts, and attempt to balance your promotional claims.

You keep calling me a liar, despite me always producing evidence to the contrary. You know I haven't lied at all, and shouldn't be surprised to see a reaction!

This latest exchange only comes about because you take exception when examples of untrustworthiness are posted, (sparked by your claims to the contrary)!

    Forcefully denying - complete lie.
Cynically edited - complete lie (as I explained to those people who can understand basic English, the profile was set up by me, then changed to an "official company" one by MSE, then I forgot I had set a job title when I started using the profile.)

"And there is hard evidence they don't keep to promises ("guarantees" even) mentioned on their website.

Next day delivery is guaranteed, providing an order is fine first attempt - many people have bank cards that don't work, ask for delivery to a different address, fail the credit check etc etc etc. The site is clear about this. From tomorrow, the site will say "before 4pm" so fewer people are disappointed - but no doubt my reacting to feedback will go unnoticed yet again by yourself. Late cashback - you and MJ don't seem to grasp a simple concept like "may" or "worst case" so I'm not even going to start on this one again.

Have a good day, and goodbye.

Oh, and I have gone out of my way to not be promotional, to the extent of declining to respond to sales approaches, I have never ever promoted the site or deals or anything - if you think I am then report me to MSE, instead of using unfounded accusations and insulting language against me. I am here to help, not to sell, but rather than being welcoming and taking this opportunity to work with one of the largest online retailers to improve things for everyone you resort to trying to score cheap points by constructing elaborate lies and stories based on your twisted version of events.

I come here to help customers and to have a conversation, but I agree wholeheartedly with others that you are essentially a troll, using inflamatory language to try and get a response out of me. As such, I am ignoring your comments from now on - any response will be via abuse@ or legal routes.

    Have a good day,
