I had to issue legal proceedings to receive some/all of my cashback
Delighted to report that Mobile Rainbow just called me to let me know that the final instalment (+ MCOL claim fee) have been paid to my account. Just checked my bank account and it's showing. Wow! Hadn't expected that - I had reached the stage of paying for a bailiff but based on recent messages on here I had decided against paying the extra £55 and was resigned to losing the money. That's the end of my dispute with them as all 4 instalments + claim fees have now been received. Phew!

Best of luck to everyone else - don't give up hope!

I am writing for the benefit of others :exclamati PLEASE READ AND AVOID THIS COMPANY!!! ....I took out my 18 month contract a year ago last Feb. I have made MANY phonecalls & frustrated emails and have not received a penny. I have now issued a claim through the small claims court and they are contesting my claim!!! As I felt I was never going to get my cashback, I let my last claim go, and posted it late, so I don't think I can expect to get anywhere with them on that one, however, my first three were sent in by the book and I'll take Mobile Rainbow all the way to get the money for them for these claims - approx £157! They are a theiving company & I find it incredible that this theft goes unregulated. PLEASE do not buy from these people, you will regret it. The stress is not worth the promise of the money that does not arrive. You have been warned!:naughty:

I just chased the courts to see what had happened to the two warrants I issued after MR failed to defend two claims (on different phones).

The cheque the court received in respect of one of the claims has now cleared and the court are in process of issuing me with a cheque for the claim + £25 cost of court + £35 cost of issuing warrant (which is good news :)). The other claim is still unfulfilled and, although it says there is nothing else to be done apparently I can reissue the warrant (through Northamption using form N445 (???) at no extra cost - so I will do this and kepp you all posted.

I have filled out the response to the notice of part admission - sent it back on the 25th of April - What happens now? I thought I would have heard something back by now.

[I selected "accept the amount offered, reject proposal for payment, pay immediately"]

pdotie: after returning my response to the offer (reject proposal, pay immediately), I spoke to MCOLS and they suggested I leave it 2 weeks to see if they pay. They didn't, and having heard nothing I considered paying for the bailiff. I didn't do this in the end as it sounded like it might be a further waste of money. Then completely out of the blue Mobile Rainbow called me last week and the money had been paid. Best of luck.

I have taken legal action against msols for 3 instalments for over £300, they say they are going to defend all of the claim. Only one week left for them to respond and have not heard anything. Will go all the way and pay for bailiffs if I have to. Dont give up guys!

Judge has said immediate payment for MSOLS, so here goes. I am not sure I will bother with the bailiff,

Aside from Tombola has anyone had success recently getting any cash from MSOLS?

    Hi

I have just called MobileRainbow again to try and get my 2nd and 3rd installments out of them which I sent in and they received last July and October 2007! Its over £300 and I have got the same excuse about how its still being processed etc but this time they said they are going to put it through to some higher department which all seems like another lie to me. I told them that I will be taking action if I dont receive my money within 7days.... The problem is I dunno how to take it further... Can I out in a claim to take then court online and if so how??. Im so angry. Thanks

None of the above (post details of your situation in the thread)
    pdotie:
I have received my first installment agreed at mediation prior to the court hearing by BACS payment, 2nd one due 29th may, I would see if they pay you and if not i would risk the bailiff, but its your call,
