i did not send in my second page in my first claim. now all my other claims are invalid. does any one know if this is illegal? i am thinking of taking them to small claims court as the T&C did not specifically say subsequent claims. This is something new on their website.
yeh. I think they changed their T+Cs in the last few months. I think strictly speaking the T+Cs at the time of the contract would apply...0 -

I've been searching & searching for advice about alternative suppliers offering cashback - not only because of the problems encountered with mobileshop but mainly because they don't have the deal I want.- My conclusion is that all these deals/companies are as bad as each other.

The fact that we get a 'free' phone (sell on ebay), moneyback via quidco or similar, plus cashback should be viewed as welcome but additional bonus.
That we, the subscriber, can get a free phone, free calls, free texts and potentially make a profit on the deal is amazing so we shouldn't be surprised if it takes a little bit of effort.
Yes, these companies should abide by their own contracts - and as we see, can be encouraged to do so - but in the final analysis, if you don't get any of the cashback, you'll still only be paying for the priceplan you would have chosen anyway
...that's the MSE way isn't it? Choose the product that suits you, is vfm, then see if you can get some additional deal.
Bollox mate. If you sign up for a deal with cashback you should get it not just 'hope' to get it !!!0 -
Hi,
I am in the process of sending my final cashbackl claim for the year, having received the previous four cheques from phoneboxdirect.
Haivng received my last bill from the mobile operator its clear my last payment to them is on 11 October.
Now, having looked at the current terms/conditions from PBD it clearly says "we will not authorise any claim where this information is missing or the bill has money outstanding" On the original T&C there is no mention of this.
Bearing in my mind my current cashback is for last year and the T&C did not mention this I am presuming it is likely, having read all these posts, they will try and "stiff" me ??
Any advice ?0 -
send them an email and get it in writing what they want ... then you might be ok.0

Sorry if this has been asked before but do we have a definite answer as to which bill to send if the bill comes just before the anniversary of sign up date
?
e.g. Sign up on 10th of Jan and the bill comes on 5th of the month. Is month 4 May or June's bill?

Is anyone receiving e-mails from cnm. My second claim was received and signed for on the 14th of last month and still no email. Ive enquired but just get fobbed off saying "it's not been loaded onto the system yet" My last email was ignored completely.
Oh and TVT, i think its generally the 5th bill that ends up being the right one to send, it was with me anyway. I sent the 4th one first and they charged me a tenner to tell me i'd got it wrong.0 -
Got 2 today just over two weeks since they received the claims. STILL waiting for first payment after 2.5 months of receipt. Seem to ignore threatening emails so I've progressed matters somewhat.0

Mine was signed for on the 18th and received email yesterday after chasing them.

roony, mine was sent on 1st Oct. and acknowledged by email on the 2nd. I sent off a pretty strong forwarding letter telling them they are breaching T&C's and I want my next claim paid within the T&C's this time.
I'm still expecting to send a LBA after 30 working days giving them 10 (ordinary) days to pay - it seems the norm!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Standard email received;
We can confirm your claim has been received and date stamped on arrival
by our mail sorting office. All mail is given it's own unique id so
we can track the item within our organisation. Your paperwork will now
be sent off to our claims processing centre where it will be assessed.
We will update you by email at every stage of the operation so you can
be confident with the progress of your claim.
Kind Regards

ps I like how they use the words "so you can
be confident with the progress of your claim". Yeah, right.**** Sealed Pot Challenge - Member #96 ****

"It's" = "it is" or "it has"; they mean "its" as in "his" and "hers". Oh well.Time is an illusion - lunch time doubly so.0
