I sent the old style claim form in this week but on querying need for D Note, their cashback help team, 0870-427931, still said you needed to send it in. They said they reserve right to change T&Cs.
Therefore it looks like the D Note & 21 days applies to all contracts. Either way I have sent it in now separetly from the bills I sent earlier but within 21 days rule.0 -

The law prevents them doing this unless they inform you of what they have done, which they have not (assuming you know the Ts&Cs you signed up to and they don't include this requirement). So start the legal process.
I have been chasing my first payment (second contract) which under my current t&c's is due in 28 working days but CNM have responded saying 'we cannot process claims any sooner than 45 working days'
With regard to my current t&c's they respond 'When you agree to our terms and conditions, you also agree that we can amend them at anytime we see necessary.'
This is so ridiculous as to be laughable. The loss in interest by the late payment is minimal (providing I get paid) but you feel like taking it further just to 'reward' this cavalier approach to their customers.0 -

But, unless the original claim form which was e-mailed to us when we first entered into a contract requests the dispatch note, (which it doesn't), then surely, no-one would send it in, especially, as I would also assume that the note would also double up as your receipt in case the phone becomes faulty, therefore you would need to hold onto it?0 -
I have just tracked my final claim, sent by recorded delivery on the 9th July.
For some reason it is being returned to sender!!!!
So even letters sent by recorded delivery are not guaranteed to be delivered. If they dont honour this claim, I shall have to speak to Trading Standards as I am able to prove that I sent the invoice, surely I cannot be responsible if they fail to collect the item.
Has anyone else had this problem??
And I stupidly have only recently set up a new contract with them.ACII and Chartered so now I can focus on learning to play my beautiful Sax. 🎷0 -
Jeppy,
9th JULY?!? Surely August.
I recently sent recorded delivery letter, not return to sender yet.
Probably another delaying tactic.
Don't bother with Trading standards. Go to court or give up.
Contact your network now and give them notice to cancel the contract even if it is 18 months away. Everyone should do this it might make the networks take some notice.

I know, I was'nt suggesting stopping the Direct Debits, just make the network aware of the issues.

It was definately July!! I am used to the delays and just assumed this was another!!
I won't let it drop though. I don't see why I should be penalised because they didn't sign for the letter.ACII and Chartered so now I can focus on learning to play my beautiful Sax. 🎷0
