I have just sent in my first claim but have forgotton to send the despatch note. I am still within the one month time limit.

Do you think they will allow after all they will receive everything in time only separate.

When did you take out your contract?????????
Pre mid June contracts don't need a despatch note, check your contract, T&C's and claim form at the time your contract started.

Thanks Lynsey, time will tell I guess.

Jeppy, rather you than me!!!! They sent the claim form to me by way of an emal attachment. Not that there was much point as they 'lost' it when I completed and returned it!!!

    Good luck,

I have again enterred into a contract with CNM, even though I am still awaiting an email confirming receipt of my final claim sent 9th July!!

Fortunately I noticed the despatch note condition, so I have saved this, but I have only received one email confirming the order this did not include a claim form. I haven't received any others. Does anybody have a copy or know how to get a copy?

In addition I have cancelled my DD for the insurance. They took the payment before sending the policy!! I have written to cancel the policy, but I hope that this will not be classed as a late payment and therefore making my cashback claim void. Can banks reinstate the DD if I call them?

    Thanks

I feel a bit silly now!! I have found a link to a website with the claimform this was included within my email. DOH!!

For anyone else who needs one here is the link:

  • I'm not sure how useful the link will be - our claim forms each have a different set of numbers/letters at the top. The T&Cs say to include the claim form sent to you by email so this could be another way to void a claim by using a different form than the one that was sent to you. I've not actually heard of this happening to anyone, but wouldn't be suprised and would take no chances when it comes to claiming cashbacks!

I'm waiting for the first claim to be processed (about 3 weeks since reciept email). For people who aren't getting paid the cashback, has anyone just stopped paying their bills and chucked the sim-card? is this an option? I know the answer is probably in these 30-odd pages somewhere but i'm a bit pushed for time at the minute, sorry.

The cash back offer is the retailers and not the network. If you end the contract early you will be liable for the rest of the contract. If your having problems speak to the network. You dont want a ccj.

About 2 weeks ago I had some random woman phone me from CNM asking me if I would like to take advantage of an "attractive" offer of a new handset instead of applying for my cashback. I am currently waiting for the first installment so this would need to be some pretty decent phone to be the equivalent of £420 cashback (they don't do iphone).

I laughed and politely said no thanks, Anyone else had this?

Im thinking now I may have been a bit hasty!

    Roony,

On the www.moneysupermarket.co.uk thread there was somone else who received this attractive offer.

Have you sen the Bourne Ultimatum? A character in the film has a phone/screen with a gun attached. Perhaps that is what they had in mind. Hmmmmmmm..... tempting for a couple of reasons.

    Hi,
I took out my contract in March this year and my first claim is due now. As I dont hv to send a despatch note for my first claim, can someone advise me if I have to tell them that I took out the contract in March and so my t&c doesnt state the despatch note criteria?
I dont hv a copy of the t&c before mid June. I am a bit worried ..what if they void my claim for not sending the despatch note? I didnt get a proper reply from the Customer care about this.

Can someone advise me if they were successful without sending a despatch note?

Also, can someone please send me the claim form before mid june? The link in the original order mail directs me to the new claim form only. I would be grateful if someone could please send me a copy of the old claim form ASAP. I have to post the claim by tomorrow.

    Many thanks
