I asked Consumer Direct this question and they advised the address registered at Companies House, which is the Rope Walk one. I am going to use the name Mobile Affiliates and explain that CNM is a trading name used by them on the internet site.

On the MoneyClaim site the postcode lookup for the Ropewalk address shows U H Y Hacker Young as the person at 22 The Ropewalk.

Does anyone have any knowledge of this person. Are they a director of the company or is it another company name?

    They are Chartered Accountants http://www.uhy-uk.com/
  • I have today received my last cashback cheque :j:j:j

I, luckily, never had reason to contact them, other than a quick e-mail when one cheque seemed to take ages to show up.

My 1st claim was sent 27th Sept/cq received 20th Oct
My 2nd claim was sent 25th Nov/cq received 9th Jan
My 3rd claim was sent 26th Jan/cq received 31st March
My 4th claim was sent 3rd April/cq received (around end May)
My final claim was sent 11th June/Cq received 16th Aug.

All cheques, OTHER than todays were handwritten.

All my claims were original bills, stapled to original claim form, and all posted using recorded delivery.

I did actually start a new contract with them 2 months ago, and am hoping that whilst slow in sending the cheques out, that they will continue to honour my future claims.

Good luck to everyone who is having problems, I hope that you all get some good news shortly.

You're surprised this thread is still going?

Have you not realized what this company is all about? It is so obvious that some get paid and others don't. Some who don't will not follow the unlawful T&C's so have some responsibility for their downfall. Others, and I come into this category, follow them to the letter , only to be told I missed a page of the bill I sent in and goodnight.

It is so obvious that if too many people get it right they have to do something else and we all know what that is.

I can't believe anyone would want to take another contract out with this lot and hope for the best. There are far better deals out there.

Good luck with your new contract, you're going to need it. Get the contents witnessed by a few neighbours as you seal the envelope, might have a chance then.

    Am I angry ? Just a lot.

    Bob,

    Fully agree.

Quite apart from the problems that this organisation has with its postbox you would have to consider the possibilty that it may not have a post box to have problems with in the not too distant future. Anybody, having read this and similar threads in other forums is errrrrrrrr...., optimistic shall we say, if they choose to use CNM. Good luck to them!!!!

    CNM & Phoneboxdirect kicked off moneysupemarket.com at 5pm today:T :T :j

Don't want you to send good money after bad.

This was posted by moneysupermarket's admin yesterday:
To advise all users that all comparison links to CoolNewMobile and PhoneBoxDirect products will be disabled and removed from 5pm tomorrow. This is specifically in response to the issues raised within the forums and some external investigations within the industry

Do make as sure as you can they can pay up when you win before spending any more money on them.
