I have submitted my claim through moneyclaim online. Just have to wait and hope I have not thrown another £50 away.

    Quentin,

Whilst I agree cnm etc going under is a concern if everybody gave up on money they are fully entitled to on those grounds then this sort of organsation is laughing!

Paying £30/£50 court fee represents good value if you are owed £300/£400. The proceedure is easy, stand up for yourselves!!

  • 'Thankyou for sending in your recent cashback cl aim. The conditions of the offer require you to send in your original bill and correctly completed claim form within one calender month of the required bill, at specific points during the year. Unfortunately you have returned your claim with incomplete details.

    Claim requirements:
    Fully completed claim form
Original bill showing your name, address, mobile number and tariff
Claim must arrive within one calender month of the bill date

Your claim has been refused because the paperwork required for validation was incomplete. A note of the main reason is shown in the notes section below.

NOTE: You have not advised which instalment you are claiming for in Claim Form enclosed with 24th July 2007 bill.''

What a stupid reason to rip me off and trick me.

Could somebody advise me what to do please

    It says in t&cs

'Cashback files are closed and cannot be reopened in these cases'

    Hi everyone

I've just finished my 12 month contract through CNM, and am awaiting my last cheque (only sent through the paperwork a couple of days ago). So far I haven't had any problems, and was even considering getting another contract through them, for both myself and my mother. But it looks like people are advising against it now...?

Which other companies are recommended then? Ideally I need 100% cashback, and only use 200 minutes a month, so not a big spender!

    Many thanks in advance

I believe Quentin is saying wait a few days to see if there is any truth in the new speculation. You will throw away your £50 if they go under.

I asked Consumer Direct this question and they advised the address registered at Companies House, which is the Rope Walk one. I am going to use the name Mobile Affiliates and explain that CNM is a trading name used by them on the internet site.

For service of any legal documents, you should use the company's current registered office, no more, no less. You can check this at https://www.companieshouse.gov.uk and click on webcheck. And it's free.

    The saint,

Yes people are aware that if a company goes into liquidation they will lose the court fees. You, along with others, state the blindingly obvious.

However, if you do nothing you will get nothing from this lot, read the thread.

People taking court action are giving themselves the chance of getting their money. I feel the court fees are good value. £50 to get £400 is good odds especially if you are sure of your case. If you feel the company may go under then surely you should act quickly before they do!!!

    I've been Money Tipped!
My cashback cheque cleared ok :D :T
I would like them all, but realistically if I can get 3/5 I will be happy. Anything else will be considered a bonus.
Companies can't "screw" their customers anymore without getting bad feedback thanks to sites like this. It works the other way as well, look after the customers properly and positive feedback will be given - these cowboys deserve all they get!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It's getting interesting with all these court cases coming up, I believe they will settle and avoid CCJ's, but who knows?? Maybe they are on the edge of folding and don't really care.

I received my last bill from Three, having taken up their retention offer. As I feared, the "headline" on the bill was for the new tariff I got from retentions. I phoned Three who couldn't have been more helpful - they said they would call Mobile Affiliates to confirm that I had not changed the tariff during the year. This will happen next week, but in the mean time I noticed on the second sheet of the bill that it shows the old tariff name up to the anniversary, so I've included this page too (normally the first is sufficient) and a note explaining the situation.
Time is an illusion - lunch time doubly so.
