This is ridiculous ... Royal Mail STILL haven't listed my letter as delivered!
I rang Royal Mail yesterday and asked them whether my letter has been delivered? He checked it on his system and told me that it has been delivered and signed. He also said that he will email me the proof of signature as well which I have not received and I will chase that up now with Royal Mail. I also rang Consumers Direct and they have said that I should write another letter now which will be a reminder letter and allow 7-10 days only for the 2nd letter. The 2nd letter is just to give them one more warning to cover my back. Has any one else has any more updates on their claim and did CNM respond to any earlier letter sent?
What number did you ring? When I rang the Customer Services number for tracing, it was automated and gave no additional information. If it has not ben delivered by the end of the week (posted on the 25th July), I shall probably send the same letter Special Delivery.

Noticed how they have changed the majority of the contract on CNM and PBD website. Most of the voda contracts are now 12months free line rental on an 18 month contract!
Learn from the mistakes of others - you won't live long enough to make them all yourself.0 -
Bob,
I dialed 08457 740 740 and selected option to track recorded deliveries. I was expecting it to be automated but it was answered by customer service member.0 -
Royal Mail have confirmed that my letter was signed for, unfortunately the signature was not dated. I have asked them to check with the local sorting office to determine when it was delivered. I have also asked for a scan of the signature, which they said they will send by email.

I have applied for my 1st cashback instalment and received an email two weeks ago saying they had received my claim and I should receive another email once my claim had been processed. How long should I expect to wait for this? Is two weeks too long?0

I received an email in the 12th July to say they had received my claim. The next correspondence was a letter on the 21st July to say a page of the bill was missing and goodbye claims.
I really hope you do not get one of these. Let us know.

This is a JOKE - Royal Mail STILL haven't acknowledged their reciept of my letter!
Think I might send another one tomorrow via special delivery and see how that goes.
Absolute joke.
bobs: I cannae remember the number I used to get through to someone. Royal Mail's telephone services are SO convoluted it's not even funny; it took me swathes of keypresses, number buttons, etc to traverse the lines to get to talk to someone. Gah - I may have to do this again :mad:0 -
No, that's par for the course, as you will see if you read this thread.Time is an illusion - lunch time doubly so.0

I have given CNM 16 days to reply to my letter. This is after another 10 days to reply to my email. Nothing,so it will soon be time to start Small Claims proceedings.
Anyone else about to start ? Because of the postal strikes I thought I would give them another week, just so the court can see I am acting reasonably.

UNBELEIVABLE... I've JUST received a phonecall from a guy called David Aguilera from Cool New Mobile asking me if I'd rather have a NEW mobile phone handset INSTEAD of my cashback claims! The handsets offered are NOWHERE near the cost of the cashback claims I should be receiving. According to him he was hired 6 weeks ago to do this - so that gives us a time-frame from when issues may well have begun!
They really are desparate!
I've just fired off an email to them informing them they are in breach of their contractual terms as it has been longer than 28 days since they received my claim and I have yet to receive ANY cashback cheques!0
